    Do you think that this trade would work... i mean we would give them Rice to fill Lewis' spot and give them a quality back-up for Vin Baker and could probably start if Vin Baker gets traded...

    Is this Realistic?

    If you sign Rashard to that max contract he wants and pick and hold the player Seattle wants, maybe. But probably not.

    I rather have Rice then a maxed out Rashard. Rashard is not all that. Sure I would love to have him, but only if takes Mobley money.

    I really hope the Rockets figure out some way to get Ron Artest. That dude is crazy on the defensive side. If he ever develops a jump shot he would be the most perfect sf for our system.

    dont yall think if rashard lewis wanted to play here really bad that he would play for less than the max??? and if we draft ming even his agent said that he would love to see lewis in houston

    Everyone please repeat after me -

    "Rashard Lewis will be a BYC player and impossible to trade for under the cap without a third party team willing to take about $4.5m in contracts".

    The only option Houston has is if Lewis will sign for the MCE...less chance of that than talking the Bulls, Wiz or Clipps into eating $4.5m. Please, don't hold your breath on this one or you will very likely be disappointed.

    I read an article not long ago that Rashard may come to houston if we draft yao ming. Houston will then become a world-known team and rashard loves the spotlight and the exposure. May be he's willing to play for less coz of that?

    Go back and re-read the article. Lewis' agent pays homage to the Rockets but mentions that Rashard will seek a Max contract.
