Old Music Videos - Websites?

www.musicvideos.com ?? I don't know though, haven't really used it in a long time.. you can try it though.

 

Instead of videos I was gonna ask for an actual online music station that plays the old school hip hop from the video era (80's Yo MTV Raps to '99 BET Rap City). My favorite rap music site fatratradio.com was discontinued last month Haven't liked the alternatives so far

MTV.com has a huge online archive. What I dont understand with them is why it lists so many results for vids that ARENT there anymore?

 

You can try something like Shoutcast.com or Live365.com. Live365 has one that plays real old school stuff (pre-1986). They're playing some Dana Dane right now. Sweet. lol.

Besides Jungle Brothers, none of them even have any vids on the site. Its nice that they mention them, never heard of half of them but shouldnt MTV be the ones to have their content? I'd be searching for rap crap on it all day if they did! I'm sure they have their monetary reasons, but its too bad cuz MTV has a cleaner straight to the point layout than youtube.

 

I've never ventured out of youtube. The problem with you tube is that my mind goes blank when I get to the search option.

I have a vision for an HD television channel that plays nothing but music videos and only one hour of scripted and rehearsed reality tv.
It would totally be innovative.
