Pietrus has already questioned himself about this. If he hadn't followed Pavlovic out to no man's land, he might have contested the pass to LeBron.
I thought that's more a mistake of SVG than Pietrus. SVG should made the players knew they could live with a 20 foot or more open jumper by Pavlovic. Pavlovic was exactly the guy u wanted him to shoot.
That was my reaction to that play too. It was only one second. The most important thing was to deny a clean catch, not enough time to pass back to Williams. I have seen LeBron making off balance 3p way too many times. I think he actually shoots better under duress.
A few clues from his posts tell me that he is a crazed Laker and Kobe Only Fan. The fact the mere mention of Lebron's name triggers his psychotic rants also makes it apparent.
If Lebron misses that shot, the series is over. That's what champions do. I still think the magic are gonna win tho.
I respect your opinion. I know they are the 3rd best defensive team in the league, but Dwight Howard is demanding a lot of attention despite having a 10 point,18 rebound game. This is making things easier for Lewis and Hedo who are taking advantages of the mismatches they cause with their height, length and spacing. Maybe the Cavs will regain their confidence after this win,but playing on the road will be tougher. There are a couple of problem areas for the Magic that can be exploited. Rafer isn't as good as Mo is,they need to take advantage of that. Secondly, Orlando tends to fall in love with their outside shooting too much. They have to keep on getting the ball to Howard and take advantage of the problems that he can cause to Z and Ben Wallace, Varejao.
What upsets me as a Rockets fan is that even though we ended up trading Francis and Mobley for T-Mac, ended up getting Francis again, AND dumped Rafer on the Magic, the Magic are still doing better in the long run.
Comparing LeBron's shot to Jordan's "The Shot" against Cleveland, the ball rattled around the rim the exact same way.
Here what my boy Walter thinks Cleveland Cavaliers (75-17) at Orlando Magic (68-29) Line: Magic by 1.5. The Magic won Game 2. When Hedo hit the game-winning jumper with one second left, the Q was stunned. Scratch that. America was stunned. LeBron was down 0-2. How could this happen? LeBron over Hedo destroyed the Magic psychologically. They know they should have won Game 2. They had it. But LeBron ripped it away from them. I just don't know how Orlando can come back from that. NBA Pick: Cavaliers 99, Magic 85 Cavaliers +1.5 (2 Units)
The buzzer beater by Glen Davis last round might have caused the decision for SVG to not double James and leave someone else open. In that play Paul Pierce drew the double team and got Davis a clean shot. I think any one of the Cavs on the floor at that time is capable of making a wide open shot. I think they should have put more pressure on the inbound player, like what Odom did to Martin last game, and also in game 1. They didn't pressure the inbound pass enough to force a bad pass, and Rashard ended up in no man's land.
cant really compare Lebron to anyone one Boston. The magic did the absolute worse thing by letting Lebron shoot a 3, not a 2. ****, but 3 guys on him. Let mo williams take an 18 footer.
I don't understand stuff like this. Teams lose in the last second all the time and come back from it just fine. Didn't people say this multiple times about Orlando in the last round too? They blew multiple games there and came back just fine. If they lose, it'll be because Cleveland has been a better team all season. Not because they are psychologically destroyed by only having 1 of 2 in Cleveland.
