i thought the second one was an obvious charge and wasn't arguing. was just making fun of all the conspiracy talk every time LA or CLE gets any sort of questionable call. when the reverse happens, it's just a great call according to most and just evening out all the terrible calls for lebron and kobe, even as kobe and lebron's teams either shoot the same or have less free throws (same fouls and ft's in this game so far for both teams).

it's really just the reverse of the magic/boston series. suddenly cleveland can't hit a 3 and anybody not named lebron is noticably nervous when they have the ball down the stretch and role players all over orlando are making plays just like boston's role players were while cleveland's players haven't shown up at all.

If the NBA lived up to their fining for flopping rule Varejao would be bankrupt.

refs like to reward flopping. varejeo got a flopping call again. Refs look like they have an agenda tonite. Stern Doin' Work. Refs Doin' Work. The NBA world won't take LBJ being down 0-2, I bet.

That should have been a jump ball. Howard had him tied up before Mo called timeout. And ref was right there too.

And then a flop call for Cavaliers before that.

    Refs for the win!!!!!!!

why does it take guys who dive to the floor with the ball so long to call timeouts some times? they always seem to try to get it to a teammate for a little bit before realizing they just need to avoid the jump ball, especially late in games where possessions are everything. in the 1st quarter, maybe you take your chances and save a valuable timeout. in the 4th, just call the TO right away.

Yes it was. You have to give the opposing player a chance to chance to catch the ball and turn up court.

Agreed on the 2nd point though.

Looks like the magic are panicking and lost their concentrations due to bad calls. Stop whining and worrying about referees just concentrate and play defense you still got chance!

It just pisses me off LeBron can tackle people getting and 1 while Yao can't throw his weight around. Ref can review whether it is 3 pointer basket, while can't review when there is 24 second violation (e.g. the one Spurs got away with)

As I understand the rule, the defender only has to allow the offensive player a chance to land....which Lewis did.
