Here I sit in Manchester, it is pouring down rain and all I can think of is how neat this country is.... So much history, so many pubs, so much beer ! And tonight....a GOOD curry is coming my way... Oooh baby, I loves me some United Kingdom. DD
Be there next week.......going to Ireland and the Netherlands too. Can't wait; the goal is six stamps in my boy's passport before he is a year old.

I prefer Ireland, I have been to a ton of countries in the world and the UK is probably my least favorite while Ireland might be my favorite.
We have plans for that game...gonna sit in a pub in London..... And I am here on work, and a little relaxation....4 meetings 9 days, you do the math. DD
I went to university in the UK and enjoyed it tremendously. I was shocked when the actual school itself that I attended had a pub and the students would be drinking during break. It’s not enough that there are literally several pubs which were walking distance from the university grounds. Good times!
My fiancee is from England, Im an Aussie. I went over in 2006 and enjoyed it. Very expensive place though. DD you should get yourself to a Super League game while you are up there around Manchester. Get to a Leeds, Wigan or St Helens game, you'll enjoy it.
Amsterdam and the Hague. Business trip for the wife.........son and I get to tag along and be bums. I said I'd go if we could plan a side trip to Ireland. Little did I know how frickin expensive Ireland is. We basically said "to hell with it" twice and tried to plan something else (Prague was the clear winner......as the fulcrum for a driving trip through northern Germany and then back through Southern Germany and Belgium). But.......we bit the bullet and we're doing Ireland. It was the European Country I've most wanted to visit; I'll get lots of pics because it will be some expensive memories.
I'm going to London this coming tuesday for three weeks. I've already scored tix to tons of shows that never get to Houston. Is gonns be fun.
Ok cool, is this your first trip to the Netherlands? Ireland is beautiful. Belgium is nothing special (there is some nice nature in the south of Belgium). Germany does have some great nature areas. I think you made a good choise going to Ireland.
