I don't think it would work out locker room wise. With KG + Artest in one building... all hell let loose.

Ummm if he doesn't fit well as the third option in Boston what makes you think he is going to do a better job here with the Rockets. He is going to be playing the same role. 3rd option next to McGrady and Yao. For that the Rockets might as well keep Artest because he plays defense. Somewhat that is. Even though his defense is slipping he gives us the option to go small and play the 2,3, or 4 spot as Ray can play the 2 and slightly the 1 spot.

I rather keep Artest. Even if he wants a large contract sign and trade with him for a better player than Ray Allen if need be or just let him walk. He is an unrestricted free agent. It really doesn't make that much sense 2 think about Artest because he really hasn't fit well with the Rockets this year. His game is not meant for them to have him as a 3rd option anyway. I mean he had some good games but he was real inconsistent and we have that in McGrady already. Why have 2 inconsistent stars

Actually if the Blazers drop outlaw they will have 10 mil cap space. They are the 1 team that could steal Artest and Paul Allen is the one owner who has no problem overpaying. The one drawback is they don't want anymore thugs. But Artest almost showed perfect behaviour this year. But will they but it. Artest would definitely put the Blazers over the top.

Then we should jump all over Outlaw :D He had a bad series against us but he's a decent player who's pretty clutch.

I don't think Portland would overpay Artest. Pritchard is a Morey look-a-like without Morey's classy air. That dude knows the concept of value.

He (Pritchard) may know the concept of value but Paul Allen would be the one who's ultimately spending.

Artest for Allen wouldn't work. I recommend resigning Artest 2 yrs for $20million. He gets the yearly salary he wants and the team commits just long enough to contend for 2 more years (and likely the end of the TMac/Yao era).
