I have that same netbook. I did a lot of research and found the wind to be the best for my needs. What's good about the Wind over other netbooks is one-button overclocking. All I have to do is press Function + F10, and my computer will jump up to 2GHZ... its part of the feature set so you won't be violating any warranty, etc.
i have the Acer netbook, not sure which model, but it has Win XP SP3 160 gig HD 1 gig memory 8.9 inch screen 6 cell battery last up to 6 hours bought it for $330 back in feb saw it now for $279 great device have no complaints, its a great secondary computer if you are primairly use your desktop. watch movies/tv shows just fine have had no issues would highly reccommend to anybody who just needs a secondary machine for internet browsing (with flash) and email. I have a G1 so i kinda agree with IMF you have most of the same access from a PDA/smartphone, its just not the same browsing on a computer if you want to play World of Warcraft on it, just buy a laptop
Love my thinkpad x61 tablet, very durable. I dropped it once while it was on. Nothing happened to it. Amazing. Stay away from HP. That's all I have to say.
