No, the OP made the comment to Ron, thinking that's when Tmac would be back, ron looked him at crazily because Tmac is suppose to be back a lot earlier than that. And a lot of other posters have been saying Tmac will be back in a year or "may not even be back until the playoffs" or some crap like that....not only did Morey say best case scenario is he'll be back by the start of the season, but tmac himself said like 2 months ago on his website that if he's on schedule he'd be back by training camp....of course he may not be right on schedule, but adding half a year to that is ridiculous..
Did we hear the the same interview? Morey was reluctant to give a projection for McGrady's earliest possible return from injury.
For all the noobs screaming 'pics or gtfo'... When you have a history here we're more inclined to believe you..
Of course Ron would be okay with 37 at 4 years. With his recent endorsement signing, his salary would be well above the $10 mil he was seeking all along. I wonder if Daryl uses Chinese shoe endorsements as leverage during salary negotiations.
I was dubious. Very dubious about your story, so dubious that I figured you'd done a doober before going to the gym, that being the only way you could drag, perhaps float, yourself there, but you have convinced me. No, Dubious, you are not a dope, and I wish it had been me seeing Ron. Heck, I wish I could workout for more than 5 minutes at a time, but I digress.
There's no way he doesn't use Chinese endorsements to point out the extra earnings opportunities of playing in Houston w/ Yao. This is how places like LA and NY can attract players beyond their budget.
That's substantial. Hopefully, the Chinese shoe company Ron is with has an out clause if he signs with another team. If they do, Ron has to factor that in before taking a contract with another team.
I would love Ron back but not as a second scorer. If we trade TMAC for a second scorer and resign Ron, we will be Championship contenders
