He is at his best when he is angry. Creativity wise, I can't say I am satisfied. I am not wowed away by the stuff in the album since he has done pretty much the same in other albums. BTW, amazon is selling it at a discount already.
I really liked it. Great flows, great beats. Only downside is that too many lyrics were about his mom or crazy stuff like getting molested as a child. I think em needs to move on from that stuff, it is played out on his other records
It's a great album. Beautiful is a great song. It could have used a little less of 'annoying accent' Eminem and more 'The Way I am' Eminem.
I think he should have gone back to relapse! He got one hell of annoying voice. Sounds like a mixture between a cat and a power drill.
Eminem is one of the top lyricist right now, with that being said, he really needs to stop that annoying accent. I hate when he does that, it makes you not want to listen.
I like "Beautiful," but the album is average at best. The accent becomes old very fast, and it doesn't sound like Dr. Dre had enough control on the sound. It could have been much better. Curtis Jackson is on the cd, and that definitely makes me want to return it to Best Buy.
I did, but it just doesn't sound like the classic beats Dre has created in the past. Just a personal opinion.
The songs that first leaked on the internet were the ones with him having an accent. I thought the whole album was going to be like that, so I was pretty much expecting shyt. Then the album leaked and totally changed what I was expecting. Some songs on here will grow on you, etc.. My Mom, Hello, Medicine Ball...good album overrall. He came back song from him previous album Encore. Relapse 2 should be out later this year.
