The refs according to him yesterday.

I guess he is rooting for the refs to get him the match up he wants.

IMO they have been pretty good with the calls this series other than maybe a few (Kobe and Battier first game and really some calls this last game with kobe getting that tech seriously?) but even then those didn't really alter the game much if any...

Game 7 will be a nice game to watch... i'm trying to get people to go to the viewing party at the toyota center?!?!

The Rockets would have brought him more money. Yao is global. Nice try.

Kobe is more popular than Yao in China. I think if the Lakers get eliminated, I'm sure Stern would be alright with a Melo vs Lebron Finals match up.

Stern roots for power, manipulation and lack of accountability.

Game 4 and Game 6 were rigged. More games, higher expectations, ticket sales, TV ratings. Game 7s are way more exciting and more $$$$$$$$$$!!!

We already know it's a Kobe vs Lebron final.

Game 2,3,5 & 6 have all been terrible officiated. I will go as far as saying game 2 & 5 were rigged because of the phantom calls on our bigs in game 5, the ejection of Artest in game 2, the non-suspension of Kobe etc.

Stern's look on his face when the Lakers were down says enough. This guy does not like basketball and will go straight to hell, believe that. He knows JVG was onto something, fined him and of course Jeff shut up after that.

I would love to see an FBI, CIA, a detective or whoever infiltrate into Stern's little world and film it. My bet is that Stern is a real ahole behin the scenes and talks bad about a lot of things. The guy doesn't care about anything except his money.

BURN BABY BURN (**** DAVID STERN, KILL DAVID STERN !!)

That's what the Rockets fans need to yell when the refs are trying to hand the Lakers the victory tonight.

I remember hearing an interview Stern did where he talked about growing up a Knicks fan but now he roots for the refs to make the correct calls and hopes nothing screws up.

Don't confuse Jearsey sales with popularity Kobe has the highst selling jearsey there because he whiched to 24. If you look at the jearsy sales always factore in team change of jearsy, player number change, alternate jearsey and player trade.

Well speaking with many locals in China and reading many local articles, I would go as far to say that Kobe is a lot more popular than Yao. Just because you're Chinese doesn't mean you're a YOF. Chinese people are just like every other person in the world, you enjoy athletic dunks, crazy shots, and highlights. Chinese people say the same things about Yao as we do in the states. Yao is a very good, but also very boring and sometimes very clumsy player.

    BTW, it's "jersey"...

If the playoffs are rigged, how did the Magic beat the celtics?
