You know, I think I migiht actually make the trade. With the exception of Steve Francis, we could acquire talent similar to most of them in a couple of years... and have the best player in basketball to boot.

Anybody been watching this series? Bryant's every bit as good as Shaq, but he's younger, and he SHOOTS FREE THROWS.

Now, please don't bother with any silly posts about how this deal wouldn't fit the cap... this isn't even a hypothetical... just a little wish that we'd made a deal with Charlotte 3 years ago [IMG].

I believe and maybe you might not but Shandon and Mobley are every bit as good as Kobe......we have a player who can take alot of shots. Honestly......I think Kobe is the most over-rated player in the league apart from maybe Pippen cause of his 6 Jordan rings! Who is he being gaurded by in the Kings series? And what are the wins/losses so far in the series? Now can you tell me you would trade every Rocket for Bryant? I would trade Kenny Thomas, Bryce Drew and Matt Bullard for him but no-one else.........ok maybe Devin Gray as well [IMG].

    Just kidding Coach Thompson [IMG]

Kobe was being guarded by Delk and JW often times. I don't think he would have too hard of a time shooting over those guys. However, there's no denying he's amazing. He worked for alot of his shots in the 4th last night, and most of them fell (splitting dbls, travelling, etc. [IMG])

Obviously, he can be the superstar for any team.

Q: Phil 'standing on coattails' Jackson has gotten alot of praise for shoring up this team's spirit. What will happen if the Kings win on Friday in Game 5?

I guess they'll be putting an asterisk next to all of his rings, ehhh? If not those, then definitely their 67 win season.

Yes, Kobe is good and at times can be awesome but I think he is over rated. He is not a player that makes me not like him al la Ewing, Kemp, Quitten, Malone, Stockton, Hornacek, Ostertag, Eisley, Polynice, Keefe, Vaughn, Lewis, Russell, and so on, you get the idea. He is more of a player that the media shoves down your throat to the point where you just cannot stand them. Such as Kobe(I don't want to here Costas yell after he walks the ball up to half court), Vince Carter(I don't know about you'll but ESPN has made me sick of him), and I could go on if I wanted to. You don't mind it if it is your own player because you have a sort of pride in your player but with other teams players the act shortly get stale.
