I'm so f'n hyped for this game...we win in a close one...just because no one believes we can but us...

Limit our turnovers, good ball movement, good shot selection (ahem Artest, ahem) and defense...Artest is due for a huge game...

    GO ROCKETS!!!!

After game 4, Shane Battier was saying he would like to petition for all games to start at 2:30. From Houston's perspective, the game 7 is going to start at 2:30, so we should expect great performance from Shane :)

    GO ROCKETS!!!!!!

hmm the Lakers are already selling tickets to the western conference finals

The Los Angeles Lakers took the unusual step of putting tickets to the Western Conference finals on sale Friday, two days before the final game of the Western Conference semifinals against the Rockets.

    Offensively:

Fakes will double Scola if he's hot, so we must practice for Luis kicking out of double teams.

They will also try to contain Brooks like they did in game 5, which means they will crowd the paint, and Kobe will be on Brooks if he's really hot. Should that happen, Lowry should be given more time and do his drive-and-kick thing (as opposed to get his shots blocked).

When inside-out game doesn't work well, the Brooks(Lowry,Artest) / Scola(Landry) pick-n-rolls are the next best options. Fakers are terrible P&R defensive team, so we have plenty opportunities.

    Defensively:

We have to limit turnovers and do a great job in transit defense. Fakers will post Gasol/Bynum a lot more, and with David Stern' help, Hayes will be in foul trouble. To counter that, help defense has to be excellent, and we should be prepared to double-team often in the first half to help Hayes/Scola stay out of foul trouble.

To me, the biggest the key to the game is Artest. RON MUST HAVE A MONSTER GAME ON BOTH ENDS OF THE FLOOR IN ORDER FOR US TO WIN.

Defensively, he'll need to play some minutes at power forward if our bigs are in foul trouble, or if Fakers are too hot from the premeter (smaller lineup move better). offensively, He must learn to pass out the double-team and re-post. Through-out this series they are constantly doubling Ron, and Ron has yet to adjust. Ron is due for a break-out game in this series, and I think this is his time to shine.

    My concerns:

Chuck and/or Scola getting into foul trouble.

I hate to say it, but the refs.

Blown out last time in Staples after thumping Lakers at Toyota Center, the Lakers seem to bounce back after a humbling defeat.

Kobe with an extra day of rest.

An off game by Brooks as the Lakers try to adjust defensively.

    Turnovers and lazy passes.

    However:

Ron is due for a huge game and this is a game 7 where anything can happen. The Rockets might be a team of destiny.

Ron with the kiss of death 3 pointer with 1.7 seconds remaining for the win!!

We have to defend the pick and roll too. Gasol will get a lot of chances. Aaron's defense on the perimeter has been subpar throughout the season.
It's a huge challenge. The result is not as important as compared to the way we play to me. That doesn't mean that I don't want us to win.

Key of the game: Aaron Brooks

    As simple as that.

Man, I just don't know if I should watch this game.

If we win, I'll be going all crazy.

But if we lose, it's going to mess up the rest of my day bad. ****!!!!!

I can't think of a scenario where we win, but I couldn't think of one where we took it to 7 either. LET'S GO!!!
