The team he works for and scouts for -- the LA Lakers -- or his old Houston Rockets? Actually, I'm curious if he's been working this series at all. Might the Lakers consider there to be a conflict of interest? Maybe Rudy has been secretly helping us by giving the Lakers bad advice in his scouting reports.
I am convinced that Rudy is a spy sent by the Rockets a few years ago. All that firing thing is just a cover. John Connor sent a messenger from the future to tell Les about this series. Les planted Rudy in the Lakers organization and Rudy began giving misinformation to Phil at the beginning of the playoffs. Did I mention JVG also works for the Rockets. His role is to spread wrong coaching advices to the Lakers from the TV booth.
This is his last season as a Laker... He signed a 5 year deal in 2005. Rudy has to come back here and do something. I would really hate his last job being that he worked for that scum of a team. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1981564
He is a consultant and a scout and I can't believe you're bringing him up. He cannot be doing that AT THE SERIES' GAMEs. Two words: Kermit. Washington.
he already won as a Rocket, our victory in game 7 won't change that. he was with the Rockets for 30+ years, he doesn't need to prove any loyalty. and if some fan thinks this is wrong, then has that fan played for the Rockets, loss his basketball career by a sucker punch for the Rockets and won championships as a Rocket? no. no fan will ever do anything that remotely comes close to what Rudy T did. Rudy could wear a Magic Johnson jersey sideline and it will never change what he did for the Rockets. He was with the Rockets before alot of fans here were born. Rudy T is a Rocket hero no matter what he does.
There's probably not a lot of scouting he is doing these days but if he is I think Rudy T is enough a professional that he will do his job well. In his heart though I bet he is pulling for the Rockets.
