Great news for the Rockets, now they can sign a wealth of free-agents in 2010 :D I'm so happy that the Rockets will be a contender next year because they have found the formula. Beat LA!!! Beat LA!!!

It's kind of like way back in the early 90s when the Denver Nuggets with Mutombo beat the SuperSonics (who were heavily favored), if I recall correctly (8th seeded beats 1st seeded, in that case). Everyone was fired up about it. And maybe Deke's mojo will transfer from then to now for a similar outcome... ;)

And yes...like what the Warriors did to the Mavs more recently.

All good stuff to those with no strong ties to either team and who want to see the anointed favorites fall to a team with grit and determination.

LOL, how long have you been a Rox fan? Forbes ranks him as the best owner, SI as the third best.

    Your mind is warped.

That just goes to show you there are a lot more Rockets fan outside the U.S
    than within.

It's really sad to see those empty seats in Toyota Center and people
leaving when there is still basketball to play.

On the other hand, 250 million people in China got up early in the morning just to catch the Rockets game.

Look in the mirror to see who are the real fans are.

What does this even mean when speaking "Les is cheap?"

I'm glad YAO brought so many fans over, no doubt. Your argument about Les being cheap is laughable though. It doesn't even make sense in this thread, nor any other as a matter of fact.

BTW- How many championships has Cuban won? Les?

Oh, that's right. You just became a fan. Learn some Rockets history before typing another response. If it takes months, that's great.

Knowledge, it's a great thing to behold.

Haha, you're a true fan, but I'm not sure that helps. From what I know, Nielsen doesn't collect their viewing information through all television sets. Instead, they survey a select number of households which are given electronic devices to measure their viewing habits.

I'm telling you guys I am not surprised. What is happening here is big. You are talking about a little team with no stars - undersized, undertalented, challenging the big bad nasty top team in the world.

That isn't suppose to happen. That doesn't happen in sports.

So when it does, people tune in. Everyone wants to see the gritty underdog beat out the talented favorite. It's human nature. It's drama. And it's not even on TNT!
