Thought everything was going well for him in terms of health. A nice guy and all around talent from making it to the NBA and a pretty good jazz musician. RIP Wayman Tisdale.
sad, always seemed like a good guy. and yeah, good musician.. nice, awkward looking lefty jumper from the elbow.
Damn. I saw this on ESPN this morning and it just floored me. I was following his battle with cancer and always thought he was doing well with it. RIP bro.

Sad, sad note on a day filled with Rockets-fueled joy. <object width="500" height="405"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/-jRRkcRmWCk&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999&border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/-jRRkcRmWCk&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="500" height="405"></embed></object>
I bought his CD's and watched him play on NBA re runs. I knew he was ill,but I didn't realize the gravity of the situation. I'm shocked! I fell in love with him when I listened to him play music. He was such a fine basketball player too. R.I.P.
Sad day when someone you saw play as a kid dies like that. He was a key role player for the Suns in those 94 and 95 battles with the Rockets.
