so that was what the jersey in the mouth was for. I just thought he wanted to make the officials think that somebody grabbed his jersey.
Agreed . . . and I'm loving it. Did you see that close up of him on the bench late in the game? Priceless.
Kobe isn't necessarily hurt, but his legs are going. And I don't just mean tonight, either. He's only 30, but his legs have SO many miles on them. They are starting to go, and he can't sustain them for a full game anymore, especially when he has to dig down deep, like tonight. His legs are like those of a 34 year old, or an old 33 year old. Or older. His jumper is so flat, it's incredible. Physically, he's nowhere near what he once was.
Add to that the fact that he's played 6 grueling games with Shane in his face. If kobe has another off day Sunday - the Rockets will win by 20. Mark my words.
During the postgame, Phil was asked if his team had lost something during this series and his answer was that they were playing with a "couple of injured players" and that "Odom was half a player out there." If I didn't like my flat screen so much, I would have thrown a shoe through it.
When Kobe threw the bounce pass interception on the baseline to SHane, right in front of him, 3rd quarter, KB looked gimpy getting back on D.
Other players have caught on to the Tmac limp. It's the limp that spontaneously occurs when your shooting percentage is poor or if your team is losing a game against a team that you and the media act like does not belong on the same court as you do.
