Who driving, the Sharks or the Chinese gov?

    The Sharks are certainly being a load, squeeking wheel. I just don't think that they have any real power wrt Yoa being drafted into the NBA. The negotiations should be directly the Chinese government, since they can squash the Sharks under their heal like an insignificant bug :)

    BTW, the Chinese demands that CD has been addressing are most certainly coming from the Chinese gov and not the Sharks. Why would the Sharks care that Yoa played on the national team?

    I agree....I see guys saying to not be so hard on the Chinese gov't etc etc etc when, in fact, the gov't has the final say on anything that the Sharks decide to do...ultimately, the gov't holds the cards

    i wish that Yao was working the docks of China and not even in the NBA draft.

    he causes too much trouble
