My guess is that they're trying to save Battier's energy for Kobe in the 4th.

Brooks has got to run to Artest and tell him "give me the fekin ball you fekin brainless ballhog" everytime he is trying to go one on 5.

That's all JVG. He's had a big problem with all the technicals and flagrant fouls being called in these playoffs, if you listened to his Simmon interview. It's not surprising he'd starting ranting about it after that bad technical on Kobe.

Guys, listen to the announcers objectively. Was it a bad technical? Yes, it was. JVG, Mark Jackson, and Mike Breen are just livid about the terrible officiating this playoffs has seen. No consistency, lots of subjectivity. We as fans complain about this, too.

Go Artest, even if you can't score, at least let Kobe give you a stiff brainbuster or powerbomb something, foul him OUT!!!

JVG sounds so biased AGAINST Rockets! It seems that the Rockets' defeat will make him feel/look better because he failed to bring Rockets this far!

He did a pretty good job on ROY?? Well...against Roy it was 99% pick n roll and with Yao helping him out that's why it gives the illusion that Artest is playing great D.

Bryant has taken as many shots as Dwight took the whole game against the Cs.

We've gotten our share of crappy calls that have resulted in momentum shifters and ejections.

Did he get hit? Yes. Did he sell it a bit? Certainly.

    What goes around comes around.

Battier is the official Kobe Stopper now.... Artest has lost a step....

Shane should guard Kobe all of the second Half....

Chuck has to stay out of foul trouble.....

24 more mins to return series to LA

    Tech on Kobe

I would like to see this from another angle. I think the offending article may have been Kobe's left arm, but you can't see from the angle we are being shown.

What annoys me is that I don't think it was a foul on Artest, I don't think it was a technical on Kobe, I also don't think that was a blocking foul by Hayes there or that Hayes foul in the first minute was legit. So why do the announcers, including our very own JVG have to bang ON AND ON about a bad call against Kobe. They barely mention it the other way round. Artest's wrongful ejections were just a passing irritance, but Kobe getting an unjust T!??? SCANDAL! OUTRAGE!

Imo, Artest is trying to wind Kobe up and make him explode lol. It's been the other way round most of the series.
