Let me say Ming looks nice in the PJ's at least for one more year..It's a good feeling knowing he is under the basket.. him and Francis run some mean pick and rolls..could it be so in real life? When i created him 7'6 was the highest it allows..i guess they didn't count on anyone actually being that tall in real life..

    yeah man...i created him too.

I also added Rashard Lewis and Joe Johnson. Traded Cato, and Collier.

    My current lineup is

    Francis/norris
    Johnson/mobley(where he belongs)
    Lewis/T mo
    Griffen/Mo T
    Ming/Willis

With all the Yao talk, I played Smits at center once in 'Live 99. It was fun. :)

i created ming too, he has a wicked drop step when i play with him, something i hope he can recreate. :)

and mobley should definitely play behind someone who has done next to nothing at this point in his career.

I created Ming also. He sucked. Throughout his career, he was constantly being hampered by injuries. His feet could not handle it. So, I started over, made Caron Butler. The Rockets won the championship.

rezdawg, that settles it. If the folk at EA Sports don't think much of Yao, we better trade the pick for Butler. :D

I created him on live 2002, he did well, I have won, 3 in a row (championships that is)

of course this is noway to decide the future of the rocks, it just as one said, kinda eases the nerves....

PS I put Odom on the team, through trade, and he moved to the second leading scoring by his second yr. thats for you odom lovers :D

I have to admit, I also tinkered with my team as well, but instead of creating players I just traded for players that reminded me of those of whom we might draft.

Example: Wang ZhiZhi (Ming...) and Turkaglu (Nachabar.) Well what happened was that "Ming" turned out to be the best center in the League and Turkaglu was outmatched by Morris. Seems odd, but Morris is actually pretty good in NBA 2k2; kinda gives me hope with him in the real world.

I made him a while back, but left Live in Houston :( .

I also traded for Rashard. The Rocks won the championship and all, but it was really wierd. Ming and Griff were manhandled by all the star big men on post ups; however, they would get a bunch of help defense blocks. On offense, everyone would park their asses on the 3 pt line.

Why trade Collier? He averages 39 points, 13 boards and 5 assists 2 blocks for me on superstar level with 6 min qtrs. He's the man.

Put Collier's ratings back to normal, and then see how he does!

Basketball sims are garbage, too easy. Only sims that are worth a damn are the NHL series and Madden series. The only way you can get enjoyment out of a basketball sim is if it will have an online franchise, with actual competition. Or get a tournament with all of your friends in it.(ends anti basketball/VC game rant)

    Yao Ming will bust.

Ea sports is going down the drain...

These guys put out cutting edge games like 5 yrs ago...they've been resting on their laurals...

They now put out crap like LIVE 2002, which is probably the worst bb game ever.

Only thing EA has a slight edge over Sega Sports..is their Madden.

...Sega Sports will take over soon.

The thing is, they still outsell VC because of the brand name EA. Madden has a humongous edge over the NFL series. EA's NHL has an advantage over VC's NHL. EA's NCAA blows VC's out of the water.

And EA Tiger Woods is the best sports game to come out this year.

Maybe I'll create Ming on my NBA Live '01 (PC version) or in NBA Live '96 (sega genesis version)

I have Collier's ratings on normal. He's just the main focus of my offense. I use turbo a lot with him. That way he's somewhat above average speed.
