...and congratulations to the new FBB champions, Rimmy's Paris Bateaux Ivre.

And Congrats to Smeg's Blazers for a great playoff run to the finals.

The series was a close one, and ended up going to a decisive 7th game. Both teams were clicking in game 7, but the Bateaux Ivre scoring was explosive with 5 players in double figures and big efforts from their big 3. Shareef with 28 pts, 11 rebs was named POG of game 7. Jason Terry added 18 points and 12 assists, while Yao Ming had 10 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks.

    Good luck next season everyone.

Stay tuned in this thread for who has retired and the official draft order..

Year 1: top 3 pick in the draft - got Yao
Year 2: 1st round playoff exit
    Year 3: Championship

Can the Rockets follow that pattern?

Draft order is up on the site. Will have final rookies up, as well as the free agents by tonight.

As for the rookie draft itself, could everyone post what time(s) would be best for them out of:

    Friday in the afternoon
    Saturday in the afternoon
    Sunday afternoon or evening
    Monday afternoon or evening

Ok, from posts here and the chat, it seems that Sunday in the evening would be the best time. With game 3 of the finals being at 7:30 cst on Sunday, the rookie draft will start at approximately 6:00 cst on Sunday so that we can hopefully finish before the big game starts.

As always, if you don't think you will be able to make it, feel free email a list to me at SteveFrancis0003@yahoo.com or have someone pick for you.

Oh and please don't use the email clicky thing on the top of my posts :). It is my real address, but the mail there hasn't been working for a while, and I can't change it to the yahoo one, because yahoo addresses are not allowed on the bbs.

And of course, if you haven't seen yet, the rookies and fa's are up on the site.

Congrats rimmy. U be da king of dweebs.

SF3, doubt if I'll make it there for my measly 2nd rounder. Just pick best rated player regardless of position for me.

SF3, did you know that Sam Clancy is already in the game? He is listed in the Draft Preview, but he is also a free agent. I believe he was in the 1st season rookie draft.

Ah, good call DHR. Thanks for pointing that out. I don't want to have to update the rookies again, so I just took off 20 pounds and renamed him Chris Jeffries. So whoever drafts Clancy, really gets Jeffries...the attributes are the same.

Also, another rookie change..when creating Sebastian Telfair, I forgot to change his age from the player he was edited from..so he is actually 19, rather than 22.

I won't be there. For both, just take the highest rated left, no matter the position.

    Thanks.
