Why would so-called only fans propose a max for Yao?

No body ask Larry Smth to apology, he already got what he deserved. How do you know it's the best Larry Smith can do? If that's all he can do, he deserved some bashing at that time.

Yao is doing all he could do now, and he gets bashed time after time. Nothing wrong with that.

BTW, nobody mentioned Larry Smith for years, and it was you to bring him back to life.

    In the GARM?

The D&D is where I think I talked about the Dalai Lama.
What's wrong with that guy anyways? If he or Richard Gere or George Michael want to join Clutchfans, I'll be happy.

Just as long as they love the Rockets.

if they hate Larry Smith, I'd beat up their hamster.

I'm not bashing Yao, so don't focus your anger on me.

Kenny mentioned Larry Smith and how he stepped up and played manificently when Hakeem was hurt.

Just like how Chuck Hayes is stepping up when Yao is hurt.

And that famous quote was from someone named Spock.

See? Again, you only know one way, and you can't stand people have different ways.
I metioned people in US and people in China just as an example because we have a lot fans come from these two countries.

YOFs follow Yao just like you follow Rockets. Nothing wrong with that.
You have the right to follow Rockets, they have the right to follow Yao. As long as Yao being a Rocket, they both rooting for Rockets. They should be friends instead of enimies, at least for now.

I don't know why you seem to be so upset that not everybody is a ROF, yet.

I know you are not bashing Yao, and I don't mind you bashing him when he played poorly. I don't consider you YOH like redao.

But I also don't see how Larry Smith get into this thread is so necessary.

But it's nothing wrong that. You go to a movie theater, you don't have to be a fan of every movie showing at that moment, and the thearter doesn't need you to be that way eiterh. Just enjoy the movie you like to watch, that's it.

And again, if Yao stay as a Rocket until he retires, I believe many YOFs will become ROFs after that. Rockets will still be their team.

So keep Yao in Houston actually is not a bad news to you "ROFs" either.

Dude, you are looking at this all wrong.

It doesn't matter if someone is a Rocket fan or YOF. Fans come and go, people change their loyalties, be it to a team or a player. The important thing is these people are here NOW which help increase Rockets' exposure, profitability and chances of winning. Oh and increase the traffic to clutchfans by a good amount.

So who cares if YOFs will stay forever, they are here now and that's a good thing.

The lessons of Larry Smith are always important.

    understanding history is always important.

respecting the team first is always important.

    What about the future?

I will tell people about how heroic Yao played this year without Tmac.

Larry Smith was a hero playing without Dream.

If someone comes here and disrespect coach Yao Ming's decision not to play Tracy McGrady Jr, then I'll tell them.

"You don't know what Yao Ming did for this team, so shut up rookie"

Why do YOFs care so much whether he gets $5mill or $20 mill a yr? If he gets the bigger pot does Ming give them a percentage of that share???? Like really it seems like this guy's fortune directly relates to their pockets. Pure fanatics . . .

    When is Yao leaving Houston?

I'm talking about Clutchfans existing post Yao post Tracy post James White.

To the subject, who cares what Yao Ming gets. They gave Steve Francis the max, he's better than Steve and better than that punk Pippen who also got the max.

And again, the YOFs are just angry overall because Yao is hurt again.
Don't put your anger on us ROFs, use your anger on the TOFs.

    You got the logic wrong.

If Yao gets $5million, Rockets wouldn't be able to keep him.

Rockets fans care because we want him here.

YOHs care because they can finally drive him away.

YOFs actually don't care, because they will follow wherever Yao goes for whatever money.

The lesson about Larry Smith is only important to you. A person can know nothing about Larry Smith and still be a Rocket fan.

Understanding history is only important to some people. A person can know nothing about the past but still rooting for the current Rocket team.

Respecting the team first is always important, true. YOFs respect the team too. They root for the team, hope they can win a Championship.

What in the future you gonna tell others is your own business, but you won't and shouldn't make other people rooting for the team just by your way only. This is a fan forum, not a prison.
