    I remember my father talking about reading a book like this a long time ago, this sounds like it must have been the same book.

    However, I don't recall a movie ever having been made about it.

    i'm convinced this movie doesn't exist. i've spent way to many of your tax-payer dollars today searching for it.

    DD, any idea what decade this movie was made? was it a tv movie, theatrical release or straight-to-video? anything else you can remember about it? character names?

    i may have to actually get back to my real work...

    Reminds of the plot of Pastwatch: the Redemption of Christopher Columbus. I know Card is planning on writing 2 more Pastwatch novels about the Garden of Eden and Noah's Ark. I loved Pastwatch, but I'm a bit leery of the new books, especially since Card is a new excutive for NOM.

    I watched it on TV, movie was probably made in the 80s...

    Jesus was not in it...he had already been crucified, I think...and this guy had traveled back to find his long lost brother...and kept seeing Jesus picture and saying..."I don't know who you are but I like you"...then at the end he walked out on the water and sacrificed himself....

    At least that is what I remember.
