I can't see the video. But if the thread title is accurate then Harold Ford Jr. would have been dead wrong in his vote. Even Cheney admits waterboarding isn't consistent with the values of the United States.

I think what the world needs, and what the BBS needs, is another torture thread. Strong work.

Perhaps now we will all change our opinions, after a friendly but intense debate, full of sincerity.

Yes, in fact, I can see that I will be changing my views on torture any minute now.

    [disclaimer]can't see video[/disclaimer]

no this is another diversion gotcha thread, who really cares about what harold ford thinks, I used to watch him all the time on "morning joe", his main mission on those shows is try to reach out to the wing nuts and not totally be a democrat homer so i take what he says with a grain of salt.

but it really doesn't matter because he wasn't in charge of enforcing the law

Well, you know, funny you should mention that...

Just this weekend I stepped on my cat's tail by accident.

When he screeched; I kind of liked it.

    So I did it again.

Next thing you know, I had him strapped to the dish drainer with a wet towel draped over his face.

That cat was willing to give up his mom, dad, and every sibling from a large litter of cats.

I even know who clawed the back of the couch.

I've completely changed my stance on torture.

I love Harold Ford Jr., .(as I have stated before)..A true blue dog moderate democrat with great ideas and very impressive intellect and speaking skills (and happens to be pro-gun), if he was running for President he would have had my vote!
