Be aware Yao Fans, i have been reading a lot of "IF" in your sentences, you might not be inmune to the TOF syndrom.
Your arguement is hella weak... Other than Lebron, no one, I mean no one in the league could take away Kobe's "1st option status" on a team... Also, if we replace Tmac's salary with 1-2 quasi-allstar players, we could win 55 games easily with Yao as the #1 guy... A more legit question though, would be that could we win a championship with Yao as the 1st option? Personally, I think the chance is slim, but still. You compare him with Paul Gasol? That's an insult... Seriously, since when Paul demand double/triple team like Yao? Defensively, Paul is only good at weakside defense, other than that, he is worst than Yao. And not to mention that Paul is much softer than Yao...
Stupid, yao himself wants to play olympic for China, that's his dream. Not about GOV or anything else. Stop BSing here.
hahaha, naive boy... thats not about loyal... if he does that, i would doubt did he cheat in his IQ test , people like Arenas....................
I want Yao to stay and I want Tmac to stay but at the end of it all it's Rockets first. If he stays great. I for one believe he will stay in Houston since we've done nothing but spend every freaking year trying to help build the guy. If he doesn't choose to stay then that will be a slap to the face on this organization and I hope the door doesn't hit him too hard on the way out. We will however move on. It may take some time but this organization WILL move on. This team bounced back from the Hakeem days and IF it does come to that point we will move on from the Yao days as well. This organization is not the grizzlies, clippers, or timberwolves. This is the Houston Rockets and I like i hope many of you are darn proud fans of the city of Houston and this Team. This organization strives to improve and be the best team it can be. I trust Morey and Les Alexander will make him the best possible offer. If he takes it WONDERFUL. If he doesn't, then take the YOF's and we WILL MOVE ON!
Money is good but a glory career is very good. A chance of winning a ring is as valuable as a max contract. If Houston can't offer a max contract, giving an talent roster and the heart of winning will be good enough to keep Yao. IMHO Yao will probably stay here unless another serious contender offer him a max.
fact:This guy did his best even though he was injured fack:This guy never compains about his teammates fact:This guy put bascketball be the most popular sports in China I feel sorry for him.Because no matter how much he did and will do,people remain showing no respect to him.
