    IIRC...the past 4-5 Championships before last years were some of the lowest rated championships in league history. Now all of the sudden we're getting Lakers vs. Celtics, Kobe vs. Lebron, the conspiracy theorist in my thinks this is all too convenient.

    Why can't the NBA just hype every team and player? If the public is excited about every team, there shouldn't be a problem with ratings.

    I'll leave Marketing to decide how to get this done.

    The NBA just doesn't like the NFL model of doing things.
