Other than Hayes defending them, what else can we do? Just looking for some solution besides us making our shots on the offensive end.....

Hire the guys that shot at Landry? We could start there.

Let Chuck teach Artest how to play D on Gasol. Chuck can play Bynum. Scola can play Ariza.

Would be worth a try, even Battier we know can defend the bigger players.. I could see him being able to play Gasol, which would mean Ron would have to be on Kobe, Chuck on Bynum and Scola on Ariza.

Find the duplicate machine in the Prestige. Make a second Chuck and have him guard both.

IF that doesnt work we could get Dorsey on Bynum. Both players are pretty dumb. Both players have no real skill so they could cancel each other out.

Give Chuck Hayes Brian Cook's jersey so he can use 12 fouls

Gasol has to be defended with Hayes and then Artest.

Bynum is a non-factor. He is not there physically and he's not exactly a sharp knife in the drawer. When he is in the game, we can use Scola or Landry defending him. He's not the problem.

The problem is Gasol. And the answer is Hayes/Artest. As long as Hayes stays out of foul trouble, he will give us everything we could possibly ask for in defending Gasol.

By the way, Scola on Ariza DOES NOT work. In fact Scola on Ariza works less well than Scola on Odom, which does not work very well either.

If LA goes big, with Gasol and Bynum, I still believe they are playing into our hands. Sure they are going to get some stuff over the top. But the whole key is Hayes staying out of foul trouble. If Hayes stays out of foul trouble, he will provide the defensive deterent we need to Gasol.

I would actually like to see Artest on Bynum. I think Artest would have a field day and be able to help out with anybody driving into the paint off of Bynum because of Bynum's limited mobility. Because of his quick active hands and Hayes' quick active hands, those 2 are going to force a lot of turnovers. Bynum does not scare me at all. He may get some over the top but the Lakers will not win consistently with him.

if that couldn't help ,then I think hayes would be a better choice than Artest .Hayes has a better base and good experience against PF with his size .Artest is strong ,but he always tends to steal the ball~

Honestly. . . WE HAVE TO ATTACK GASOL

    Landry Face him Up.
    Scola Face him Up

Drive on him relentlessly. . . initiate contact
Force the Ostrich to ATTEMPT to defend

I agree. I think we have to get them into foul trouble. We need to force the Lakers into a small lineup.

I think its all about positioning. If they don't let Hayes touch him to try to push him away from the low block, then we have no shot of holding him. I think Artest on him is a great suggestion and is worth trying at least a few possessions. Mix it up a little RA...make good use of your best defensive player...

I think if Artest crowds him a little bit it will **** up a finess player like Gasol. My only concern will be rebounds...

Get them in foul trouble. Bynum is someone who Brooks should run into continuously after picks when Bynum steps out to him. He has been a non factor all series until this last game, so I can see that working. And Chuck has to stay out of foul trouble himself. If he gets into foul trouble, forget about it.

I mean guys like Wafer, Lowry, and Brooks need to drive in and initiate some contact from these guys. Draw some fouls.

He hasn't played in a while. I can't imagine he'd do that great, but I guess he can't be any worse then Cook.
