This Lakers team definitely isn't all there mentally. They coast, get lackadaisical and take games off. It's definitely possible they'll get complacent with the big win and hearing from the media how great they are like they did before Game 1 and after Game 3. Of course, that pattern is pretty obvious to anybody that's followed this series. If the Lakers are smart, which I don't think they are, they'll go for the kill on Thursday. It's up to us to come out shooting, REDISCOVER OUR OFFENSE and keep playing them tough. Leave it all out there and see if we can take at least one more from this team.
The Lakers gave us a spanking tonight but I still believe they are the more fragile team. Remember this series was supposed to be a sweep even with Yao playing. Then it was supposed to be a 5 game series with a blowout in game 4. We still have another game at Houston that almost no one expected. The Rockets need to stand tough and we need to get behind our team.
Hey, nobody expected us to be here in the first place. We've been underdogs for this season. T-Mac's out. Deke's out. Yao's out. All you've got are the scrappy ones. And yet we're putting up a heck-of-a-fight with these Fakers. When it was thought they could sweep us 4-0 like dirt, but no, we gave them a shocker in the series opener, and surprised them again with a W in a supposedly no-contest Laker win Game 4. So what gives? The Rockets deserve appreciation, deserve some love. They have made it far enough to disprove all the naysayers. They have nothing to lose and everything to gain. They have nothing to be pressured about. Meanwhile, the Fakers still has to take the fourth game from us. And it ain't gonna be that easy. Rockets are still in the battle. They're in for a war, and they have to continue slugging it out. This series isn't over 'til one team wins four effin' games. Period. I'll lay down the money for the Red. I still believe! Making this a 7-game series and stealing Game 7 should be damn sweet for us. Go Rockets!
I don't feel much down for this game actually .The result is what it meant to be when yao is out .This 40' gap isn't what we got in Dallas in 2005! And ,I don't believe we can win thoroughout the series ,but I do believe that we can win the respect and applause in LA finally !
