why are u so pissed, im pointing a fact, did we not shock the world by beating them, and did we not get blown out tonight?
We are down but we are not out. We ran out of gas and emotion after going down in the first quarter. It was always an uphill battle from there. Either way, no matter what happens, the players have given their all, and this has been an entertaining, intense and great ride (just imagine - the first time in eons we are still watching Rockets in MAY). I will support them till the end. SS999
We need to come out hyper-aggressive with reckless abandon in getting to the hoop to set the tone. The last two games whoever set the tone first routed the other team. Of course we still believe, it's just a wake-up call, the Rockets need to get out and attack the basket to try to get Bynum in foul trouble.
Look at it this way... The Lakers couldn't have played any worse than they did in Game 4. The Rockets (hopefully) can't play any worse than they did last night. Based on that, I believe game 6 will be very close as both teams will have made adjustments and will have found a way to counter what was working for the other team.
Great thread. I wanted to make this post but I'm an American so naturally I am lazy and want someone else to do it for me In any case, let's win game 6 and lose game 7 by a small margin, please! Go Rockets! Or win game 7. That would be ok too!
Let's not forget The Knicks' CHARLES SMITH's infamous "ONE. WIN. AWAY." words in 1994 when the Rockets were down 3-2 to the Knickerbockers in the finals. What happened? This ain't a thread for quitters, sir.
I concur. How can anyone not be proud of this team? Anyone who looks at last night's game as an indictment on this team is a moron. Miracles can't happen unless your backs are against the wall. How sweet will it be if they manage to pull this off? If we lose, we weren't supposed to win anyway. But if we win......

How weird is it that everyone thinks Kobe's quotes are stupid and yet pick the one he made after game 4 to justify game 5? r****ded.
