Funny thing is that he was probably the only other person to penetrate the lane.

Dribble penetration is causing the Lakers bigs to get fouls. You can get them out of the game. And Brooks is scoring at-will on penetration. Apparently the team just doesn't will it very much.

RICK: the only "good" thing that can come out of a blowout like this is to experiment with defensive schemes for the next two games! Throw a couple of zones out there, some exotic double teams, just DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT! We need to figure out a way to overcome our height and rebounding defecencies...nows your opportunity to get actual game speed/quality reps in...

On that last play, I saw Cook get hammered with no call, I saw Odom go over the back of Landry to get an offensive rebound with no call, then Odom extending his non-shooting arm into the defense with a call....on Houston.

Not a good game for the eyes tonight.

Rockets have just looked lost tonight. Can't buy many buckets, etc. I thought the Lakers would win, but ofcourse being a Rockets fan I wanted Houston to win.

Rockets will just have to take Game 6 to force a Game 7. We shall see.

The only thing to cheer me up is to see James White dunk once in playoff.
Hell that's prob his only chance in this life....

I didn't even know why T-Mac mad. During the summer he needs to be working out harder and getting in better shape versus waiting till the season starts to make up excuses. When your bigtime players get hurt as much as T-Mac and Yao do you gotta trade at least one of then... T-mac odd man out imo. If Yao gets hurt one more year we gotta let him go but while we got him here we need to get more tall aggressive type players.

That makes sense, Jones. Get thrown out of a game you probably won't win so you won't be able to play in the next game you are likely to win. Goodness!

It's OKay,we don't have anything to lose. No matter what happen next we are already the winner of this year. We made out of first round, we beat LA in their homecourt in game 1 and beat them again without YAO, T-mac, Deke. If we lose this series, no one will be suprised, the whole team are heros; if we win this one, Lakers will lose everything. Let's go! I'm proud of the Rockets!!!

awesome, Cook playing awesome defense on Kobe, then rebounding

At this point I'll be satisfied with a dunk from James White...

Von Wafer... 5 points in 5 minutes.

Sadly, it looks like the Bossman still hasn't forgotten.

I just hate seeing TMac on the bench. I can't stand him if he picks the Lakers he should be seating on the Lakers bench rooting for his pick to win it all.

Cook has seen some pretty big minutes out there.

It wouldn't hurt to play Dorsey though..especially in this game.
