I would try and trade Yao to the raptors for bosh. he is a young big man who can score but runs the court well. then i would ask the old pistons if they would take tmac and filler for rip hamilton and prince or wallace

What in the world are the people who want Bosh thinking? Have they ever WATCHED him play? How is getting a guy who is softer on offense AND defense going to improve the team? This is ridiculous.

You know I've been reading a lot of your posts and I see that you take shots at Tracy every chance you get. This thread has nothing to do with Tracy but yet you bring his name in it like you always do. I mean really whats the point?

don't know why many are high on bosh. he's a good big, but nothing special. his raptors team sucked this year.

same goes to joe johnson. overrated in my mind. his playoff performance this year was way below what should be expected of an alpha dog of a playoff team with hca.

Diffferent rules, but I thought Chris Bosh played better at center than Dwight Howard in the Olympics.

Still I cant tell if Chris Bosh is Amare good or Zach Randolph.

If anything proves MacBeth isn't lurking around, eager to post, it would be this thread. He's a huge Bosh fan.

Bosh is a good player, but we could do alot better if we traded Yao.

I love YAO and I think he is one of the best players in the league. but to be honest, Bosh is better for the Rockets IMO.

So Toronto has Bosh, supposely as good as Yao, and Calderon, an allstar level PG, and Marion, a defense specialist, legit big 3 dont you think? I wonder why they sucked so much....

Because their role players aren't as good as the Rockets, they don't play as hard as the Rockets, and they don't complement each other as well as the Rockets - and their commitment to defense is not as strong - do you really need me to explain this to you or have you not been watching Houston this year?

Another thing I don't understand in this thread is people claiming that Bosh is soft and that Bargnani is/will be better - Bargnani is even more of a finesse player than Bosh, who doesn't grab many rebounds despite his size and hovers around the three point line?

I like Yao more as a player, but I'd choose Bosh for the simple fact of health. Nothing else.

i would be shocked if that were the case. the only thing that would make bosh a possibility for yao, theoretically, is his imminent departure via free agency. if he were locked up, there's no way they trade him for arvy...errr yao. not to say bosh is anything that great himself, but i think alot here are underestimating the severity of yao's situation with regard to the hit it has likely put on his trade value.

I don't think you were watching the game as closely as you should have then. If you noticed Gasol started playing face up to Hayes after the third quarter, instead of posting with his back to Hayes. I actually noticed this because JVG had stated that Gasol would be more effective if he played this way (he stated this at some time in the 2nd or 3rd quarter). Gasol will eat Hayes up if he continues to play this way, no doubt he's a good defenfer, but he has limited abilities due to his height. Yao played a HUGE role in stopping players from trying to drive to the basket. Watch tonight, they are going to force it down the Rockets throats by driving to the hoop. We'll see how this team is without Yao. Tonight will be the real test....
