No, because then it would have been a two-way tie and Tech beat us. They would have deserved to go based on a head-to-head win. But actually in that case, it probably would have been Florida vs. USC in the Championship. They would never have put a non Big XII Champion in the game, and Tech would have been too low in the rankings. There would have probably been a big jump in the rankings like in 2006, when the coaches refused to put a Ohio St./ Michigan rematch in the championship. I never said that the Longhorns should have been bumped in the final rankings. The argument was just when deciding who should go to the Big XII Championship, and this decision was purely on the polls due to the tiebreaker, they should consider who to rank higher.
Okay, i can agree with that. And I know if OU lost it would make it a 2 way tie. But some horn fans still think that they should/would have gone if that happened, to the national championship that is. lol, remember back in 2001-002? When Colorado won the north and beat texas. yet Nebraska didn't even win the division and still went to the national title game. now that is ****ed up. hahaha
