Now you are acting like the idiot. Cuban does stupid things but Kenyon Martin is a thug a big time and as a fan if I am at a game and Kmart tries to layout Yao and his Mom gets in my face and says my son punked your Rockets I would for sure tell her her son is a thug.
Cuban makes a fool of himself often but you have to admit that if your mom is talking smack she should have thick skin and take some smack as well. Now, if Kmart's mom was a class act who plays well with others then you might have a case.
How is asking Cuban not to talk trash to someone's Mother holding him to a high moral standard? Could you see Les Alexander talking trash to someone's Mom? Cuban is not just a fan, he is an owner. He holds a higher responsibility just like players do. Ron Artest was chastised for not holding his composure when provoked, why the hell is Cuban above it?
You're entitled to your opinion, but I'm not an idiot. If you had bothered to look at that tape you would know that she didn't "get in anybody's face". She was just sitting there and Cuban was ranting like a maniac, turned to her and yelled at her. She didn't say a damn thing. Now if that makes me an "idiot" because I think that a grown man shouldn't shout down a woman then so be it. I guess I'm an idiot for thinking that a grown man shouldn't shout down a woman because she allegedly trash-talked him during a basketball game. So, with all do respect, I'll be the "idiot". I can't imagine that Cuban has insulted Martin's mother so badly that he must physically assault him in order to balance the symmetry of the universe once again. Personally I feel once you have lips tattooed on your neck it is open season for yo mama jokes.
After reading this thread I can tell that a lot of people don't know what a thug is. Let me help some of you guys out its not a person that has a lot of tattoos or even act as a fool on a basketball court. A thug is a person that will rob, steal, and kill. And to the best of my knowledge K-Mart has never done any of these things or have I ever heard about him doing one of them things. So there for it would be wrong to call that man a thug just because of what you see on a basketball court. So you really should think before you call someone a thug. Its so funny how Cuban likes to run his mouth, but I'll bet my life he wouldn't have said that if he ran into K-Mart in a dark alley. I mean how childish do you have to be to trash talk someone to their mother.

I love him, too. I love that he is an extremely poor judge of NBA talent. I love that he makes his team extremely uneasy with his meddling and his rants to the refs (that comes from none other than Dirk himself). I love that he shouts out an insult to a fan, a transgression that he should be held accountable for as he is not just another fan, but an NBA owner. I love that he is so blinded that he sees all the supposed calls against his team but never says one word when same team benefits from calls and non-calls. I love that he is loyal to players like Dampier and non-loyal to players like Nash. I love that he will never have the opportunity to have a truly great coach work under him because they just simply won't tolerate it. I love that he talks to the media about how all of his players wanted Avery Johnson gone rather than keeping it "in-house." I love that he would rather bring notice upon himself than improve his team. And, finally, I love that he is the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, because that will only make things better for my team the Rockets. 2006. That was his chance. He and his team blew it. He will most likely never bring a team to that level ever again. And I love him for it.
I did not see the tape and only read this board which gave a totally different view. If what you say is true I stand corrected and apoligize. I have never liked Cuban but I think I hate KMart more. Still I would never initiate anything to a lady. But if Kmart leveled one of our players like Fisher did Scola I would have little tolerance for someone screaming out stupidity. it sounds like that is what not happen and if that is true than Cuban is even more of a moron than I thought.

I completely disagree. If you've ever been near a player, coach, or team personnel during a basketball game, they are trained to ignore the crowd and not respond (and 99.9999999% of the time, they don't say anything). Cuban is the owner of an NBA team. I know hes living the dream of an NBA fan, but thats exactly why he doesnt have the right to mouth off to anyone. Its one thing for her to say something, but you sure as heck better not respond. Just because its Martin's mom doesn't change anything, she is part of the crowd. Cuban is part of the league, and he should know better than to get involved with a fan, regardless of who it is. On a completely separate matter, what kind of person are you to be jawing with someone's mom?
