    My first post..yay!

Anyway, i feel that the rox should do the trade with lac to get odom, 8,12 for 1, kt, 15, rice. Then we have a proven player in odom , just like Cat wanted.

After that we should draft woods at 8, and amare at 12, and this would give us youth as well.

i feel we should get woods because odom may be a problem with his drugs and all, and having woods would give us instant offense at the 2 and the 3 spot.

On the other hand getting stoudamire would be good because he'll take Cato spot in 6 weeks. And since Amre is such a hard worker he'll push Cato in practice.

Or in the clipper deal we could also recieve Maggette.

    our line up would be:

    C. Cato, Stoudamire, ( collier-waived like Antonio Freeman)
    PF. Griffin, Taylor, Stoudamire
SF. Odom, Woods, Maggette, ( T mo should be traded as a throw in.)
    SG. Mobley, Woods, Maggette, Francis
PG. STEVIE FRANCHISE, Moooooooooooch, and keep brown so we can trade Norris for some picks or players.

Um...Thats all. i hope my first post doesn't suck and i end up geting 2 responses.
    :)

I don't like the lineup. You still haven't filled any holes in your frontcourt, where the team's biggest deficiencies are. Amare may one day be good, but I've read a number of reports that say his high selection will solely be based on potential and he has had some less that stellar workouts. Woods, too, would be a big potential pick and may or may nto work out. I just htink if the whole goal is to minimize risk and get proven players (and you admit yourself that Odom has some baggage) than this strategy fails.

these are the type of things I've read about Amare. He may be good ina few years, but I think EG should work as our really young, useful on the floor "project"

    Humphrey vs. Stoudemire
Don't be surprised to see the Orlando Magic pick Melvin Ely if he's available at the #18 spot. If he's not available, it's rumored the Magic may trade down and pick Ryan Humphrey late in the first round or early in the second round. The Magic are intrigued by the ultra-tough Humphrey who is rumored to have abused Amare Stoudemire in a recent workout for the Magic. Humphrey's stock is rising quickly.

What if woods is not available at 8. . .take Amare there?
