They should've had Larry Manetti at the finish line.

The leads being lost due to flight have always been a part of the show. I don't know...you want to reward a team for doing well, but you also don't want to have a blow out all the time.

Tammy and Victor were okay. Asian pride. :) They would have brought great shame if they didn't win. :D

Lady Di, you're deaf? I'm glad you feel the same way about Luke then. It's also his mom's fault; she treats him like a toddler. Right when she told Luke to do the last task, I turned to my wife and said, it's over for them. It's just like last season when there were 4 teams left and the muscly air-head son did the Russian task instead of his mom (who was tired). They would have knocked out the frat boy morons if he had let his mom do it.

I must admit though that Luke was impressing me when he picked out the first 9 out of 11 surf boards correctly. His mom then said that Luke had been studying all night and prepared for a task like that, so it made sense. But then to watch him fumble away what seemed to be a 30 minute lead not remembering the last 2 legs of the trip...that was painful. I hate the kid and his incessant whining and bush-league tactics, but watching anyone choke away $1million is still a painful sight.

All-in-all, last season was better. The U-turns are stupid. Any team that is ahead at the time basically has the power to eliminate a team behind them...and it happened twice during the race. While that might be dramatic for that particular episode, all it does it make the quality of the competition worse down the line.

Every team this year was pretty flawed so it was a race that was up for grabs. And I'm glad that a pretty consistent team won the whole thing. That said, last season's brother-sister champions would absolutely freakin destroy Tammy and Victor. They were smart, athletic, even headed, prepared, and the sister was hot. They probably set records for winning the most legs and absolutely destroyed the final group. Maybe that's why the producers wanted to get more flawed teams this season, though once again, the most normal group wins.

And when I saw normal, I mean just regular non-morons. The deaf guy wasn't abnormal because of his deafness, but because of his idiocy. The black sisters were abnormal because they always fought and chose peeing over money. The midget stunt-men were abnormal because they were buffoons. The red-headed cheerleaders were abnormal because one was a total biotch. And then they casted the hillbillies from the West Virginia Appalachian Mountains who had no shot at winning. And Ned Sneebly's dad was like 70 and was on the verge of passing out on every physical task.

It's okay to cast smart, athletic, nice teams for next season. You don't have to be like Real World/Road Rules Challenge where all the guys are roided freaks and the chicks bang each other. Just cast good normal teams that would give a competitive race. I personally think competition alone makes good tv. I'm tired of the created drama that has nothing to do with the spirit of good competition dominating the air time.

I agree, the guy really gets down on himself real quick, I didn't want them to win because of what they did to the young couple.

Name me an episode where they didn't throw a hissy fit? They wanted to travel the world but didn't like the fact that everyone didn't speak english, geez. They were decent eye candy though.....

I think the competition was quite weak, the only couple that I think was on the same level as them was the young couple. To improve the show they need tougher challenges, I find the stuff they do as being too easy.

I disagree. It wouldn't be interesting if everyone did not get equalized as that team might have been able to crawl to the finish line. I like the way they do it because there is an advantage, especially earlier in the season as you have the first opportunity to book flights and they fill up. I agree its not much of an advantage at the end however. BUT, that is why they win the 1st place prize at the end of each leg so they get that instead of a competitive advantage in the interest of making the show ... well more interesting

I was glad the deaf guy did not win it, he was a bit whiny for my taste...and the lawyers were pretty good all through the show.

    The best team won.

You're probably right. Just one of those things I guess. Maybe they should just start over each round and forget about the head start altogether, since that's basically what they do anyway.

I was really happy with the outcome...

I was kinda rooting for Luke and Margie early on, just because I did feel that they were at a disadvantage, but I grew to dislike them quickly. I hated that they would complain about how people played the game (it's a competition, for crying out loud) when they were the first team to even use a U-turn, and so early on in the game! From that point forward, you really have no right to whine. It's a competition, and in the last few episodes, yeah, people are going to start looking out for themselves.

It was much easier for me to like them again after they lost.

I'm glad Tammy and Victor won. With the exception of that one episode where Victor got them lost, they were completely solid, and totally likable.

Good job good job good JooooOOOOoooob (my Victor impersonation). ;)

I only caught th last five or six episodes of the show and I'm happy the brother-sister team won. Luke is a little douche and his mom has to take some credit for that. God I was hoping they didn't win.

The cheerleaders were good looking, but the b****y one killed all attraction with her $#itty attitude. I think it was Jaime. I know its a competition, but that junk is annoying and makes Americans look like jackasses. The thing is, if they were smarter they could have charmed guys left and right to get what they wanted.

In the end, and it may sound cheesy, but with the Rox win, the end to Celebrity Apprentice and this show I definitely have more faith in being able to play the game with honor and still win.

    Go Rockets!!!

After season 1 when you had teams that were literally one leg behind the front teams, the producers have made sure to prevent anybody from getting too far out in front. It makes for more suspenseful television so it's probably better this way.

yeah, gotta hate jaime, the whole why can't they just speak english attitude was unbearable

for me this series was ok, not one of the best though, not enough super teams and not b****ing within teams.....

also i love to see them set up the flights so there are multiple options/stopovers for getting to places, so we get some difference in arrival times but not the massive ones in series 1.... all in all still in the top couple reality shows going round

Out of the 3 teams left, Tammy and Victor were the only ones who were bearable. Therefore, I am glad that they won. They were pretty likable and had a pretty up beat attitude most of the time.
Cara and Jamie were extremely rude and ignorant. All the complaining about the people not being able to speak English is so rude. Hello, you are in a foreign country not every body knows or needs to know English. If you want every body to speak English then here's a hint, do not sign up for a race around the world. It just make you look stupid. Jaime's constant barking at the taxi drivers was so disgusting to watch.
Luke and his mother were awesome despite them overplaying the deaf card and Luke being a whiney ass. They were in a lot of top 3 finishes.

    agree with most folks

not a great season, but decent.

hated Luke by the end, could not stand his whole victim mentality, pooor deaf guy, pity me...and then turn around in the next breath talking about proving that deaf ppl could do it without help. I totally saw the hissy fit coming, its the same thing that hurt him figuring out the russian name in an earlier leg.
btw...His mom was strong, those pigs looked HEAVY.

Loved the eye candy teams (blondes and redheads), was glad when the blondes departed as they ended up irritating me...and while I loved checking the b****y redhead out in the bikini, her attitude is a TOTAL turnoff. I had the same thoughts about how bad they make us look to the natives...One statement summed it up for me "This is why I didn't want to go to China, cause IT SUCKS!" just cause everyone on the street didn't speak english.

Was cheering on Tammy and Victor, they were the most level headed ones(except for the leg that put Vic in his place) They did have a MAJOR advantage heading into the final...Speaking Mandarin FTW. ;)

He boxed out one of them and tossed a bow in her direction at the clue box.

LOL. That pretty much perfectly sums up those teams. I have been watching since season 2, and even applied to get on the show (didn't make it obviously). I love it. Out of the final 3, I was also cheering for Tammy and Victor. I know they are already lawyers out of Harvard, but they seemed very level headed and "normal". They were competitive and worked well as a team for the most part.

The funniest line of the season was when one of the sisters from Louisville said something like: "I have a few questions; 1, what the heck did we just do? 2, are those crossdressers? 3, why are we signing with crossdressers?"

    Lol.
