They are not playing against the same lineup Yao and Scola are. Apples to Oranges.

I hope Yao can play. I hate when teams can't play at full strength in the playoffs. And that's coming from a Laker fan.

    beats me to it.

to me it's another reason to start lowry. when our starters are trailing in a game, it's usually when ab is struggling. when ab plays decent, the starters usually take a lead.

i think either this is good news or bad news...eitehr Yao is ok and they are just making Lakers guess if he is playing or not....that is common with teams and game planning...

or worse case scenario: he is not going to play and rockets want to sell their remianing ticket inventory and then will announce before the game that Yao is out...business decision...

i wonder if the players are doing interviews today...we willbe able to tellmore with yao interview....

I know it's a stretch but watch the games. Adelman's substitutions are absolutely horrible. The guy goes back to the same players regardless of how the game is shaping up.

It's like the last game of the season vs. Dallas over and over again.

If Yao is out tomorrow. Rick Adelman needs to just go crazy with the line-up. Start Lowry and Wafer.

    Yao told Artest he's playing.

Guys, I don't care how it looked yesterday. Unless he has a serious, serious injury that needs surgery, he's going to be out there. This is the season for the Rockets, and he knows it. The question is how effective he will be. If it's at all possible for him to play, he'll be out there. Book it.

even if he's unable to go, it may be time for yao to really pull a reed now.

We'll need Artest or Lowry to be the Walt Frazier in this series though, because I remember Clyde Frazier saying something like Willis brought the energy and motivation and Clyde himself brought the rest.
