http://www.toyotacentertix.com/events/event_865.php still available...... Funny. they were $100 yesterday
i wonder i can get a refund of 45 bucks on the seat that i bought thursday i swear i am getting more and more fed up with the rockets and their sh**
i would be pissed too. you should definitely call to voice your displeasure. i was looking yesterday cuz i really wanted to go to game 4, but i just cant afford $100/per ticket right now... the rockets really havent handled this well...how do you go from $100 to $55? there should be one fixed price...
well it was catch 22 with me i was thinking of waiting till after game 3 to buy but if the rockets won last night (which I believe they had a good chance of going) those 100 tickets would be 130+
this obviously means they know Yao is done and they are waiting to sell some tickets before they make the announcement
why else would they lower the price like this, those $100 seats were $200 all week and those $55 were $100 all week, just as they sell out the inventory they will make the announcement
because after the rockets lost last night the band wagon fans that were all there wont come to the games anymore because they will go back to being lakers/cavs fans so they lower the prices so the game is affordable to the actual rockets fans again. like i said had the rockets won game 3 those prices would have just sky rocketed. for example if the rockets win tomorrow and somehow win again in LA on tuesday game 6 tickets will be crazy
Dude, this is f'ing insane -- how are these tickets not sold out -- it's 2-1 !!! Man, if I could get down to H-Town i'd be all over this -- I paid about 500 for a nosebleed seat in the Summit for the 94 finals (game 6) yeah it was the finals, but that was 15 years ago. C'mon H-town -- step it up.
Eh nm, There are a few sections you can get a group of 4 together but those are at the lower endzone.
These are the prices they were offering the season package holders. I can't believe they are changing prices, I would demand a refund if I had already purchased tickets. The Rockets were in a great position to sell tickets, the demand was very high, but I think they got too greedy. Holding tickets, trying to make fans buy season tickets so they could watch the playoffs and severely jacking up the prices for the second round, has soured a few fans. I hope they made their money, but it will cost them a few fans. It's funny how my ticket rep couldn't help me with tickets early on, but told me friday he could fix me up to the upcoming games.
