Clutch: "Going to be interesting to see what happens with him this offseason.... to get him (lewis) it would have to be sign and trade."

Why would it have to be a sign & trade? Just wondering.

I really like Rashard and for reasons even beyond court ability it sickens me that we drafted Turkan instead of him. I would love to sign him via free agency though I know it is almost impossible. Still, I don't think I would do such a trade strait up. Cat is clearly the better player right now and may very well still imporve himself, though perhaps Rashard's ultimate peak may be a little higher. But Rashard isn't overwhelmingly talented and explosive either-- e.g., like McGrady or Swift. How much more could he contribute than say Demarr Johnson or Mike Miller-who perhaps we can draft with our pick or other free agents like Tim Thomas or Croshere?? In short I wouldn't trade Mobley for him because I think there is a good chance we could find a similarly high-potential player in the draft or free agency while keeping Mobley. Now if we could trade for Lewis while plugging in the FA D. Anderson in Mobley's slot, that might be something I would do.
