Watching the third quarter of the Rockets games tonight against the Lakers it became prevalent the officials will never ref Yao fairly and it’s the reason why he has suffered so many injuries through his career. In the 3rd there were 3 possessions in a row Yao was grabbed pushed and hit that would normally be simple personal fouls. At some point Yao needs to get his respect from the league. On the defensive side of the ball guards are getting easy foul calls by just throwing their bodies against the 7"6' center. I was receiving calls and texts from Mavs, Spurs and Magic’s fans saying what I was thinking the refs are killing him in particular. Me watching the game hear Mark Jackson saying they Rockets need to give their big man the ball only to see him get no calls brings they question how much and a man take. It’s funny how the NBA refs Joey Crawford and Steve Javie was officiating the two losses in this series.

I think this game was called pretty fairly.

Yao pushed and punished Pau "Gasoft" into only 13 points. I think Yao got alot of "favorable" calls.

Pau 4 fouls, Yao 1 foul

I think they only screwed up the Ron Artest Flagrant but I think they were just controlling the game at that time. It was a loss, Ron will not get suspended and foul downgraded.

Good night for the refs, I can't complain. :D

Nah, Yao had an off game. It's not the refs fault that he couldn't hit those shots.

I agree with the posters above. The refs did a good job tonight, aside from that Ron ejection towards the end.

The refs gave Yao Ming a fair shot this game and he produced. It was a shame he was injured at some point during the game, which I really think affected his output in the 4th quarter.

    Let's all hope Yao's OK.

Ya, he did get hacked on a few no calls. But at least the refs weren't calling ticky-tack fouls on HIM and taking him out of the game completely like in Game 2.

He missed shots because Kobe blocked one completely clean. Another was deflected on the way up. We're playing them physically too. The refs did a great job tonight, we lost because of ourselves.

I thought the refs were pretty good up until that stupid flagrant on Artest. Yao just got banged up too much thats all.

i may have misworded what i wanted to say, but blaming the refs for tonight isn't a valid excuse. it was a very fairly officiated game.
