When a team outplays the other team, then that team will likely get the benefit of the calls. Just think, when a baseball pitcher is in command of his pitches, he'll miss the outside corner of the plate by a few inches or even a foot, and still get a strike called on the hitter.

Both teams ended up being whistled for 22 personal fouls, but it might have been only 14 whistled against the Rockets if they didn't foul, foul, foul in the last minute and nine seconds just to see if the Lakers will throw up plenty of bricks from the free throw line, and enable them to steal this game from the Lakers. The only thing is the Lakers threw up only 5 bricks out of 16 from the free throw line in that last minute and nine seconds, so there would be no such thing as the Rockets stealing this game because of poor free throw shooting by the Lakers.

I would sure like to know if Phil Jackson will play Jordan Farmar a lot more after last night's game and use Derrick Fisher less from here on out.

You defend Artest for his two ejections.

Stu jackson and David Stern dont. That is the problem.

The NBA is all about Kobe and Lebron, that's hard to argue with.

can you honestly say that artest ejection today made a difference?

secondly, yeah artest got ejected last game, it was unnecessary but the way the game was heading it was getting called for anything and everything. sometimes **** happens and you have to deal with it and make adjustments.

however, he did not get suspended this game, and he will not get suspended the next game.

your team did not win 54-55 ( ____ wins) with just artest. it was won as a team. you win and lose as a team.

I just don't get why the refs don't like Yao tho. He brings in so much money.

No it didnt effect the outcome of the game.

But it said all that needs to be said about the NBA.

Sometimes **** happens. Well apparently not for the L.A. Lakers, Boston Celtics or Cleveland Cavaliers.

Rondo pulls two downright dirty plays. Even for Fondy standards.

    Nothing.

    Star Power.

I don't blame the Rocket player much at all. I'm still pissed about the last regular season game to Dallas. That ruined everything.

    did fisher not get suspended?

what has Cleveland done to warrant suspension..

& yeah rondo got away with murder who knows why

but aside from that you need to give up on the conspiracy.

    Lol who knows why.

Fisher got a flagrant 2. So did Ron tonight.

Rafer Alston got suspended one game. Are you telling me what Fisher did was comparable to what Alston did?

    Are they the same thing?

Because they recieved the same punishment.

    Hahah. No argument here.

But if a measly slap to the back of someone's head warrants a one game suspension...

I guess Fisher was really just trying to run through the pick.

you do not slap someone across the head like alston did that was an obvious suspension. if they did not suspend him... then you would see players slap each other across the head based on that as precedent

& fisher committed an unnecessary/necessary foul depending on what fan base you are looking at it from. and yes either fan base would tell you it deserved a suspension.

and for the uptenth time btoh players got suspended artest wont.

My point is if a head slap is a one game suspension, then a malicious cheap shot with the intent to injure a player is also a one game suspension I guess.
