Maybe we should change our strategy next game. it's hopeless to play like that way. We could use two PG together to form a faster team, use Yao only quarter 3 and 4, Yao could have enough strength to ruining them. we can change the rhythm and speed of the game frequently to destruct Laker's defense line.

is there any way to stregnthen your hand? use that freaking grip contraption for yao.........the turning point in the 3rd was when he got stripped going for a dunk, blocked by kobe, and missed a hook shot he thought he got hacked on.....that's 6 lost points right there.

    Game 3.

Rockets offense went missing, when they needed it most.

Chances of upset = matter of faith.

    BELIEVE!!!

    Pretty brutal to watch.

    (B+) for effort
They played pretty hard. But there is still a lack of truly finishing at the basket.

    (C-) for focus
WAY too many turnovers from bad passes, lost handles, bad shots, etc.

    (C-) for BB IQ
Not really anyones FAULT. You have a second year PG being given the reins of the team with 30 games left in the season. You also bring in a young, inexperienced PG as his backup. AND Wafer, another green player, is gambled on to provide scoring in tough, playoff situations -- playing from behind. He is pretty clueless as to how to make "plays". He operates mostly out of sheer athleticism but doesn't really create opportunities for teammates. If Barry can play within his capabilities and not think he's still 25 years old, he would be better in those situations.

    (D) for knowledge retention
We've only heard for most of the season the "answer" from Adelman that there needs to be more player and ball movement when Yao is fronted. And he includes Yao. Yao has to move more to help get the defense off-balance. Very few plays have cutters ending the play. If the team hasn't conquered this one by now don't expect them to master it in the next 2 days.

Root for them with all your heart but listen when your head tells you they are not at championship level yet.

We had our chance to get a REAL PG! we are in the 2nd rd vs the Lakers with a $21mil trash on the side.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers blow the Rockets out in the next game.

While Im not a fan of late season changes, this is different. They adjusted to us and now we should adjust to them.

If RA is going to stay with my man Scola to start, he HAS to punish Odom on the low blocks and get him in foul trouble...or we need to sub a lot earlier for Landry.

I would give Brooks notice that if he is not aggressive early, and successful doing it, that Lowry will be coming in early for him...like after the first four minutes.

Every player on the team needs to be shooting the ball within 4 seconds of it touching their hands or passing it off. Violation of this rule would get anyone other than Yao benched by me if I was RA.

There's no change that can help us now. We just have bunch of young guys that need to grow up fast. Starting Lowry isn't going to help that much. Lowry is not enough better over the PG counterparts of the Lakers to make that much of a difference. We still need to overcome sloppiness and mental lapses that plagued us during key stretches during the game.

That would mean Ron Artest would be benched in an instant. or never seeing the court beyond his first touch.

There is no rule to say we cant change starters...Portland changed Rudy Fernandez into the starting lineup replacing Batum...and rudy is not even a sf!

lowry does not need to start. but he needs to get starters minutes.

although aaron has played with the first unit a lot more and is more experienced in running this team, he doesn't exactly assist or do anything but creating his own shot...in that case I'd much rather have lowry who can assist run the offense rebound defend...all u need from ur pg.

lowry reminds me much more of championship young PGs...Rondo...Parker...

Aaron Brook's turnovers hurt our momentum so much that we were never really able to get into a good groove...

adjusting your lineup to suit their lineup??? well in that case we dont need to change anything.

but we do need to give lowry starters minutes...before its too late.

aaron brooks is nothing more than a spark off the bench. If von wafer comes off the bench...I don't see how aaron brooks is any better. because he is just a total SG in a PGs body...and he cant even use his ballhandling abilities to assist or create for his teammates which the PG is meant to do...

ugh. reppin from section 407 row 8 here, and that game was incredibly frustrating to watch. it seemed like late in the 3rd and in the 4th, we were just trading buckets with them back and forth, staying about 8 or 10 behind the entire way. if our defense coulda just stepped up and gotten some stops (kobe went cold for a slight bit but we couldnt stop anyone else) we coulda easily have been competitive near the end. oh well.

maybe for game 4, the Rockets could play less like Adelman's teams and more like Larry Brown's or even Van Gundy's  . these Lakers can be held to less than 80 points if the pace is controlled. As good as Kobe is (only 11/28 for 33 points), he's not as dominant as Shaq, and the other guys don't command double teams. the Rockets also need to be much more deliberate on offense, working, working and working the ball until it gets to Yao Ming with at least 5 seconds left, an open 3 point shooter, or an open cutter to the basket.

yao will be fine. acturally, artest's flagrant 2 will makethe league realized how bad we aere officiated, they will not be that hard to artest, it is artest's chance to redeem himself in game 4. yao is a true warrior, that pain will make him play better. we will win game 4, it will be even

Every bad game it's always Artest and/or Brooks. When they are playing bad, they are even more selfish, seems like they are trying harder to prove themselves, and of course they end up wasting a lot more shots. When they are playing good, they are more willing to pass.
RA needs to address this!! It happens all the time.

Well, Yao does had an average game tonight, or even slightly below average.. This lost is on the team, we just have way too many turnovers and at the same time, Kobe was playing out of his mind..

But again, please be understanding when posters try to point out the worst players of game, which is Brooks in this case..
