I understand what OP is sayin'. 17 turnovers to 6 turnovers. Aaron Brooks 1 assist in 27 minutes. Ugh. Point guard is still a huge, gaping hole!
dwight also missed a playoff game which the magic won. doesn't prove he's useless. i never said rafer is a savior. just that we are losing a series because we can't control the ball, and we had a vet PG who didn't turn the ball over.
exactly. i'm not saying that we shouldn't have made that trade. lowry is better than rafer hands down, and 10 years younger to boot. but in this series, right now, we need a vet PG who can control the tempo, get the team into the sets early in the shot clock, and not turn the ball over. i defend brooks a lot, i believe in the kid. he'll turn out ok. but rafer could've gone 3/8 tonight with more assists and less turnovers. and he might have got the ball to guys in places where they are less likely to turn the ball over.
no way. i'll take lowry and brooks's mistakes over alston. he played well and hard for us but that's that. We've got 2 great guys now who really can contribute a lot to the team's success. I bet alston would've failed tonight regardless, probably in different ways from brooks and lowry but still.
are u serious? they would front yao even more and send their PG back to help on yao if rafer was here.
couldnt argee more,AB is turn over king ...... and does't know how to pass the ball to teammates, dribble too much
You don't know what you have until it's gone. The hate for Rafer on this board was ridiculous, and while he has a questionable shot selection (like Ron Artest?!?!), he is a good point guard. Not shooting guard. A point guard.
