Wow. The league stoops to new lows. If we get a suspension out of this, the fix is in. That SHOULDN'T happen, but just saying. Knee to head + Elbow to head + Elbow to throat = 1 combined flagrant 1 Hard foul to ball & wrist + smack talking = TWO EJECTIONS!!! Not at all unbalanced, right?
this series is still far from over...i have confidence were gona bounce back from this and finish this series out strong, its a ****ty feeling tonite, but we cant hang out head downs, and give up hope, if artest is for some bull**** reason suspended next game i have a feeling 2 or 3 other players will step up and make huge contributions...
Conspiracy theory here. The refs had a plan to take Artest out before the game was even played because some of Artest's talks are not what NBA wanted. So the refs kept watching Artest and finally got a lame chance to eject him. NBA, where everything is fixed happens!
artest will get suspended because he will never be able to get rid of that pacers v detriot incident o well. i still have faith.
Compare this bull**** to Wafer getting elbowed in the head and tell me which one is flagrant. The NBA, where **** I just give up.
This is so BS.. That foul a in the same nature as the Vujacic foul on the Wafer three. If the refs want to be fair, that should've been a flagrant 2 aswell. Of course, I don't believe the Vujacic foul was a flagrant. It was not premeditated and was just an action due to coming down with gravity. The same is said for the Artest foul where he was purely goinf for the ball.
Can David Stern just skip the rest of the playoffs and go straight to Lakers/Cavs. Might as well not waste anyone elses time.
Can they rescind a flagrant and remove it from Ron's record? We don't need him getting suspended for a flagrant 1
i even did not see what happened, just saw him on the way to locker room i thought he just quit, dang, it never happened
It wasn't even that it was a bad call. It was a FLAGRANT 2 and HE GOT BALL FIRST. Hilarious! This series isn't over yet. It has been called so poorly but hopefully we can overcome. I'm expecting more poor calls (kobe biased) during this series. If I have this taste in my mouth after game 4, it's going to suck . . .
I have never seen the league overrule the "judgment" of an official as I they think that doing so would open the doors to questioning the officiating. What Stern and his d-bags don't seem to realize is that the officiating couldn't be more of a joke.
After 31 years of following the Rox and over 35 years of following the NBA (I used to live in Chicago); I can't help but feel that the NFL is quickly becoming my favorite league to watch, since the refs don't typically control the outcome of the game (at least so obviously). I honestly don't think I'll ever believe in the intregity of the NBA until Stern is gone. Impeach David Stern Now!
It will be downgraded to a flagrant 1, which I think is the correct call. No big deal -- the game was over anyways.
