What the rox could really use is a punisher like Toronto has. They've got Charles Oakley to be the punk if someone messes with Vinsanity. The rox need someone to rough up any fool that bothers Franchise. Maybe Big Dawg? I will pity the fool that lays a finger on Stevie.

Tony Massenburg was somewhat of a punisher, but he never got back on the roster after the early season injury. I hope the only reason is that he wasn't 100% physically. The Rockets would have benefitted from the presence of T-Mass on the team, both as a low post scorer and as a punisher on occasion.

Maybe Brian Grant could fill that role too?

Charles "steroid rage" Oakley is not the enforcer on the Raptors, Kevin Willis is. Ask Jerry Sloan, he will tell ya.

The ROCKETS are desperate for a big PF w/ some fire.

If anyone fights with Stevie then Chuck will come out of retirement and give them a body slam.

Uh, yeah, I guess people would be scared if he put his "sorry fat but" to use and treated them like his own personal recliner.

I don't get where this Brian Grant tough image came from. I watched him when he was in Sac and Portland and not once have I seen anything that showed toughness. Yeah his play against Karl was nice but if thats what we are all basing it off of then its just a mirage. As far as his whole game it can be found for half the money(see Trent, John Thomas, Darvin Ham) I say pick up Gary Trent, Darvin Ham or John Thomas. Big bodies who love to bang and are old school 4's. Ham would be a dream come true for us think Bo Outlaw type energy for half the price. Trent would also be a good fit, and Thomas a last resort. Also Zan Tabak would be a great backup I always liked his game but he was never needed with Dream in his prime now I think he would be a great fit with Cato(if we keep him) I'm not sure if Thomas is a free agent, but I'm pretty sure. Anyways these should be our mid-level free-agents this year, for anyone thinking we will get the Hills or Duncans get real. I really think the adition of a Ham/Trent and Tabak would get us to close to the playoffs, the rest rely's on the draft.

Darvin Ham....big body? All 6'5", 230 lbs of him doesn't classify him as being a big body. He doesn't exactly intimidate anyone. But the guys is one of the most explosive players in the league. He's always been one of my favorite players to watch. I don't think he can help the rocks much though.

Alright he might not be a prototype big body but his energy is just bubbling. I really think he would be a good addition. We need hustle guys, who can board and just bring intensity. Trent would be my first obviously but really any of those guys could help out the front line.

Zan Tabak? John Thomas? We've got already a better Thomas and Zan Tabak is a scrub.

I like the idea of having an enforcer on our team... I never thought about it before, but how about someone like Anthony Mason? I know that he is a head case, but he is someone that can bang down low, and do some dirty work.

If we want dirty work players, our very own pig miller is one, Mark Davis of Golden State, Jerome Williams of Detroit, yes Darvin Ham, Othella Harrington also. Moochie Norris is basically the only dirty work guard I'm familiar with.

Come to think of it, Moochie Norris is pretty damn dirty.

I know it's a little silly to base our love of Brian Grant on how he played against Karl Malone. However, you are forgetting how he STARED THE MAILMAN DOWN!!! I think his words were, "Come ON You F#@%ing P*!sy!!!!"right in his face, and malone was just sitting there all pretending to be tough. MAN I LOVED THAT!!!

Ummm Tabak is better than Cato bro. Kenny Thomas is not a banger, John Thomas is I'm not saying bring him in to start but Thomas and Tabak could be excellent backups.

    Brian Grant is A Beast,

He plays with emotion and can get those offensive and def. rebounds like no other. Remember last season he was a killer on the boards on a team with Rasheed, Sabonis and O'neal. He has offense and is Clutch and a clutch free throw shooter...We really need this guy..aside from a Marquee PF we need this guy bad..maybe he'll show Cato how to play with some heart and passion. Imagine him with Hakeem up front. Hakeem relies on a brute PF ala Otis Thorpe to guard the post and free up room to block shots. This will also allow Hakeem to use that Mid range jump shot. The RastaRocket...i like the sound of that
