You spin it again. There were plays caused by team problem, but the plays I mentioned are not team problem, but AB's problem. Just like Von going to locker room is not team problem but his problem. Agree Rockets don't have much choice here but to keep playing AB. I just want to see a change at PG position next season if AB continues to play like this the rest of playoffs.
Brooks reminds me of an undersized, Steve Francis, both good and bad. More of an undersized shooting guard than a PG, certainly his scoring can make him a potent weapon when he is at his best. However his turn overs, poor decision making, over dribbling and lack luster defense are very Steve Francis-esque as well. He either looks really good or really bad and it seems to be a coin flip which way his game will go from game to game. If anything it is two average to bad games for every good one at this point. Of course Lowry hasn't really been any better, and even worse on occasion. You can argue that this tandem is better than Rafer/Brooks, but regardless I would still rate PG as the weakest/least consistent position on the team right now. Their performance the rest of this series will determine the out come more than any one else.
I am not spinning anything, AB had some bad plays, it is an NBA game, there are players on the other side of the court trying to cause those bad plays. It happens..... DD
Whats the story on Von Wafers antics? Does anyone have any info as to whats going on? Im assuming, and I hate assuming, that it is about playing time. I wonder whats going to happen.
Ye every loss blame brooks, every win, someone else. Don't mention the run happened with him on the floor though. Yeah, keep mentioning how he couldn't or didn't throw Yao the ball, yet everytime artest posted up, he got the ball easily. He will be up and down, but I don't think he played a bad game last night. Maybe if Shane does something on offense on the road while kobe is lighting his ass up. Maybe if Yao doeswnt get a foul trying to get a stupid ass charge, that wouldve helped also.
Brooks is a good player. Yao is also a good player. However, when Brooks and Yao are playing together, many times their performace are below average unfortunately
Obligatory bump to celebrate/scapegoat Brooks for Game 3. Thus far, I have not been very impressed. His decisionmaking continues to be mediocre. He always hesitates and decides to pass a second too late.
I can't believe anyone buys into this AB can't pass because his teammates don't move enough. Does everyone see how Lowry pass to Landry in tight spaces?
Brooks is a damn side show, looks like a chicken running around on the court with its head cut off. He sure as hell isn't a starting PG in the NBA.
lowry and AB gotta learn how to pass the ball to Yao, When He got the postion you have to get him the ball rightaway, if u wait 2, 3 second , hes postion is gone.
At what point do you stop making excuses for his poor play? OMG, BUT HES SO FAST!1!!!!1 He only does well offensively 1 out of every 3-4 games, and then turns the ball over at the most crucial moments in the other games.
Rick let Lowry played most of the 4th so far. I don't know if he will put AB back in. He may, since we are down and prob need some 3s. There are fundamentally sound players, and there are gimmicky players. Right now, AB is more like gimmicky players.
I AGREE HE JUST TURNS IT OVER TOO MUCH I THINK WITH HIM AND LOWRY AT THE SAME TIME IT'S EFFECTIVE. BUT LOWRY HAS TO BE THE GUY BECAUSE BROOKS JUST DOESN'T MAKE GOOD DECISIONS AND QUITE FRANKLY IS JUST CARELESS WITH THE BALL.
