That's an AWESOME article. Maybe best one of the year. So true on every account and it's especially impressive that it came from the Washington Times.

 

And that is now my new favorite article ever written. Thank God someone in the media has the balls to speak the truth. He just said what EVERYONE on TNT and ESPN and ABC and every network is thinking but too scared to say. WAY too scared apparently.

I'm sure the NBA will latch onto this. Kobe, the battle-scarred veteran and leader of a dirty bunch of cut throat thugs vs. Lebron, the Prince and the future of the league as well as the leader of a bunch of great guys who do it the right way.

I can already see the TV promos being put together now. East vs. West, good vs. evil, the present vs. the future (all while showing clips of Lebron laughing and dunking mixed with Kobe hitting jumpers and elbowing peope). It's the NBA Finals on NBC!!!!

except for the part where the Lakers get eliminated by the Rockets.

Nice read. I expect Kobe to make it up to Ron Ron, by saying we are all cool, it was moment of heat blah blah.

Jordan could come across as cocky but I don't quite remember him being dirty and cheap. If Jordan ever did something dirty, it was in retaliation. Plus Jordan was universally respected by pretty much everyone in the league unlike Kobe.

 

I don't know, he might still be scared.

On 1560 they said they talked to a guy close to Artest and said he's still seriously pissed. I hope so, Kobe needs to realize game 2 is not just a memory.

And I've been watching the clock too.

 

Hmmm... I am thinking the same... I see Kobe walks up to Ron to kiss it up at the end of a game, maybe tonight's game... in return, ESPN and NBA will show that all over the place, and Kobe will be your good NBA golden boy again... mark this post... it will happen...

If Kobe tries to make nice to Artest tonight before the game, I think Artest should just give the slightest head nod, and nothing more, not even a smile.

 

or give him a smug look hinting about what's gonna happen to him.

 

here's hoping artest does the exact same thing to kobe, except he aims lower and breaks a rib.

 

I hope Artest drops 40 tonight and we blow them out.
