Officials for Game 3: Javie, Corbin, Garretson

10 years ago I'd have said Javie was as bad as Crawford, but I'm with the others that think he's been somewhat more impartial in the past few years.

Overall, refs shouldn't be the deciding factor with this crew... but for that to be true, you gotta take care of your business and not let things be decided by one possession in the last minute of the game.

Garretson was one of the refs for game 4 last series..

 

That's a very solid crew and yes, Javie will light you up pretty quick if you jaw with him. If the league was looking for officials who are fairly strict but fair then it put together a good crew for this one.

 

i think garretson is a good ref. but is he the one who has had issues with yao since yao said during a fiba game that he didn't know what a travel was, or was it kennedy?

 

WOW I'm amazed sometimes at what information is kept track of in this day and age. Who knew?!

 

Sports gambling is huge.

 

Based on past performance, I think this is a good crew. As long as you play the game within the rules, Javie won't give you any problems. But don't try and get in his face - you'll be gone!

I really don't care who the refs are for tonight's game, as long as we get the win and we get our share of calls, I'm fine with whoever is officiating. Go Rockets!

we need some chinese refs in the nba........and we get them to referee rockets games every single game... we dont need to monitor their phone records with the chinese government I think

 

Not crazy about Javie.... but as long as Crawford isnt in the buildiing - its all good!

Better than the nightmare ref lineup of Crawford, Palmer, and Corbin.

Although Javie is very hated by other fans, I don't really have an opinion on him.

Javie has mellowed over the years. He calls a fair game and is not influenced by the crowd.

But, yeah, don't get in his face.

Is Dan Crawford going to ref this series? He's excellent.
