Houston Rockets are taking advantage of the second round situation. Has been a long time.. even before the Toyota Center days since we have been this far.. I don't know what to think of it, but I feel sorry for all those getting jipped. It's a smart business move, but it's also a terrible way to treat the fans.

I don't even see any playoff tickets for sale on flashseats?

The problem I have is if they are selling their remaining inventory through flashseats. I know that season ticket holders can buy up to 8 playoff tickets, most of these get sold on flashseats. The mini package holders and the Rocket Insiders should be next in line for tickets, but most of the seats were gone when we got online. Maybe they should reduce the amount allowed from 8 to 4. This would give the true fans an opportunity to buy tickets, without paying an arm & a leg. I was told the season ticket holders where the Rockets "bread & butter" and they would take care of him. IMO, they are forgetting about the fan that goes to 5-20 games a year. Another problem is yes they released tickets to game 3, but those $55 seats are now being sold for $100 by the Rockets. Why is this?

I think you have an excellent point, Rocketsmith. The mini package holders and Rockets Insiders should be taken care of. Seems reasonable. Anyone know why the Rockets aren't doing this? I live in Austin and won't be able to make the games, so I don't have a dog in this hunt, but I remember seeing advertising that mini package buyers would get a break if the Rocks got into the playoffs. Am I missing something?

Wow, I had no idea about the 20% markup. That's ridiculous.

Mini package holders yes, they got a change to buy in the presale, up to 8 tickets. Rockets Insider? I know they like to give special offers, and that's nice, but you are saying you deserve special presale tickets just because you subscribe to the email list? Big deal, don't you think those scalpers (er brokers) are on that list as well?

I didn't say Rockets Insiders were offered a presale, but I know mini-package holders were. The member I was responding to (a mini-package holder) said the Rockets had few tickets for him to buy when he attempted to buy them. What's up with that? Sounds like those seats are being sold elsewhere. Like I said, maybe I'm missing something. You didn't find it, lol.

I sure wish the Toyota center website used the same interface as stubhub.

Mini-package holders were allowed a pre-sale last friday at 10:00 am and Rocket Insiders at 11:00 am. Fom what I hear, there were slim pickings at the first pre-sale and nothing but very expensive seats at 11:00 am. There were no $18 tickets, but saw some bought at the ticket box office at noon.

I got on at 10:00 AM and had pickings from the $75 range to above (8 in a row). I was pretty satisfied with what was available to me.

Good news, I wasn't able to get on at 10:00 AM, but glad the mini-package holders could get tickets. I had read where one poster said there wasn't too much to choose from. In round 1, I only paid $32 for upper sideline tickets and the public was charged $50. This round they charged $75, is that the price for everybody or did package holders get a discount?

I believe (not absolutely sure) that we didn't get a discount for this round like we did in the first round.
