Anyone know how they parted When he left the clippers . . . it seemed their was not alot of love between him and his teammates muchless the team. Does anyone have any insite on what their relationship was like. . . .Could be another problem with Odom . .or a boon Chemistry Issues Francis, Cat and Odom happy. . . Mo T sad and disruptive like he seemed to be in the clipper lockerroom Rocket River
No, I've heard the contrary - that MoT's closest friend on the team prior to leaving was Odom. In any case, if you've ever heard Odom talk, it would be very difficult not to get along w/ him and vice versa. He's like the nicest most easy going guy (maybe cuz he's always high!!)
Pipp, That would make sense, what did MoT get popped for recently? Pot...and what is Odom known to do...? Pot... Not that this is such a bad thing (like some ppl around here like to think)..but I happen to know stoners like to hang out with other stoners...
I remember a qoute from Taylor, possibly after a loss to the Rockets, in which he criticized Olowokandi and his lack of effort in the game.
Now that I remember, I think MoT was sort of like a big brother to show Odom the ropes in his rookie year. Regarding the pot, an overwhelming majority of the players smoke it pretty often......I personally believe Odom and MoT were just dumb enough to get caught more than once - I bet there's a lot of players who've been caught at least once but that info just isn't disclosed to us.
Tough decisions abound! If you want to go the Odom route, you have this type of baggage...Ming has a different type. It doesn't make sense to go another route, but...it can be a headache. no doubt.
Mo: Ok, rookie... i'm going to teach you how to play this game. Odom: alright, i'm listening Mo: To make it in this league, you got to blow through the media haze. They're throwing smokescreens. What you need to concentrate on is game...boy ... like Cato. Odom: Yeah brah, once i got here, its was like weeds springing up in my backyard everywhere. Mo: Now, game time, gotta be aggressive. Take it to the pipe, take it to the pipe and stuff it. Don't be shy, you may not feel and understand what's going on the first time... it'll take a few times before you feel the effects... but you'll be scoring soon enough - trust me. (mo shows a few moves here) Mo: Don't forget to breathe, sometimes i forget to keep inhaling and i'm puffpuffpuffing down the sideline. Down the stretch you lose it. Don't think it's over when you hear the bong. During a season those many buzzers just mean more is coming and you need to be prepared each time. I'll be feeding you the passes... not much at first so take it slow and don't be intimidated by the Kg's of the league. Odom: Thanks Mo! you're like a big bro to me. Mo: No probs kid, just keep sucking it up and you'll eventually get in the zone. And remember, i'll always be there for you so you don't fall into withdrawal.
Taylor asked for the max and got dumped. they have a 4 thats 2 as good is he is. at least the clippers were not as dumb as we thought
Well if "stoners" as you called them like to hang out togther, perhaps our Boys in the backcourt are puffin the magic dragon as well? BOY tha woul dbe bad have 4/5ths of your starting lineup caught smoking, dang!
I used to smoke pot for about 2 years when I was in my mid 20's. The main problem is that it takes away all your 'drive' . You become so apathetic and casual about just about everything. It's a cool way to be in a way...I have always had trouble relaxing, so it really helped me. However, is it how you want you NBA team and over 300 million dollars worth of invested salaries to be? Guys don't do pot once and get caught...they do it ALWAYS and get caught once. Odom got caught TWICE. I love Lamar's game...and I'd be kind of happy to see him on the Rocks...but giving up a # 1 draft pick on a guy done TWICE for drugs is too big a risk.
Funny **** Crossover!! Most of the Clippers love Odom. He was supposed to be their leader because he passed them the ball and carried the offensive load. He was in tears in front of the press when they asked him of his second offense. I think he brings a happier chummy chemistry with the Rockets. If only he gets his personal life straightened up.
