anyone have the interview he had before game 2. He was talking about toughness and stuff. They showed little clip on TNT after game.
I don't even need to see the video to know that Fisher will be lying through his teeth. That's what he's known for. It got him out of Utah when he claimed he needed to go to LA for his daughter's medical problems, even though her doctor was in NYC (last I checked NYC is closer to Salt Lake than LA). Only a true scumbag would use his sick child to benefit himself. Must be those years around Kobe rubbing off on him.
in game 4, just send in james white and give him a hockey check then act like james actually hurt his arms afterwards. That little sob is the leader of the players union??
Wait wait wait wait....Derek Fisher has his own website? HAHAHA! His explanation of what happened is just stupid. He lunged 5 feet. I will give him this though. In that interview he did try to set an example for young kids watching (like there's anybody on that site lulz) that you shouldn't play that way. Maybe one of his teammates (not naming any names) should follow that example...

I just watched the video. Even worse than I anticipated! What a lying sack of crap that guy is. "We had a foul to give". And what's all the pleading to the kids ("kids, don't try this at home")? As if anyone wants to be the next Derek Fisher. LOL! His whole site is comical. I think it even has clips of him trying to make a layup ("kids, don't try this at home")!
I WAS WATCHING THE CLOCK. . NOT EYEBALLING SCOLA. . WATCHING THE CLOCK AND DECIDED TO GIVE UP A FOUL. WTF?! HE JUMPED LIKE 3 FT. SHOULDER FIRST INTO SCOLA. .
It's embarrassing how that idiot Doug Collins keeps praising him for being "tough" AFTER the clear cheap shot.
Its shameful that he only got one. What Rafer did and what Fisher did recieve the same penalty? What a load of crap.
I couldn't even watch it! But Just 10 seconds on that sight will show you what the Lakers are all about. What a bunch of Hollywood Punks!
I was so mad when this happened I didn't really listen to Doug Collins. After hearing him practically give Fisher the Good Citizen of the Year award for what could have been a Rudy T like incident I think he needs to apologize on air and/or be excused from some of his duties for a while.
Speaking of Rafer I would be willing to bet that if he was on the floor for the Rockets during that exchange Fisher would have gotten more than a slap to the back of the head from Skip.
That's a pathetic excuse. When was the last time you saw a player (when his team had a foul to give) opt to foul the screener instead of the ball carrier? I can't recall a single instance. Maybe it happens but I don't remember ever seeing it happen. If you're giving up a foul, you wait until a guy makes his move and then you reach out and grab him. You don't foul a guy coming to set a pick.
just down right terrible excuse, he's lying through his teeth. But i do love how you can see the scab on right side of his head where he slammed it into Scola's teeth. didn't realize Scola was such a bitter
Also, fouling off the ball in the last two minutes is a FT+ ball back (basically a tech). This is the anti-hack-a-Shaq rule. So obviously Fisher is full of it, but he has a history for being a self-serving lying prick, so it's hardly shocking.
But I think that's the last 2 minutes of a half. This was the 3rd quarter so it wouldn't have applied.
