You're in Austin right? The two I frequent the most do not have age requirements. BW3 and Aussies. BW3 is awesome come finals time, and they both have the NBA Leauge Pass so you can watch the Rockets next season.
it sorta depends... Champs Sports Bar near the Galleria is a restaurant as well as a bar, so a minor could eat there... it all depends, do you get carded when you walk in? If so, probably no minors... If you don't get carded till you order a drink and the place serves food, a minor would probably be welcome.

damn man, i'm from alief and i moved out to campus-area austin. you're basically from where i'm from and about to live where i live. but i don't know of any sports bars that play rockets games here yet, i had the luxury of a free league pass on digital cable the last half of the season when i first got here, so i need to see what the results are from your requests here.

Are there dress codes at sports bars? I am planning on wearing shorts to go watch the fight tonight at Melon's on the Gulf Frwy and I really don't want to be turned away because I don't have pants on. Any specific dress code required by sports bars in general or for this particular sports bar?

Anyone know of a place on the east side of Houston that would be showing the fight? I've called just about everywhere in Beaumont, where I live, and no one is showing it, so I may have to drive over to Houston. Is there anywhere likely to both show the fight and allow people under 21?
Well, you see, I am 15 but my dad has been good friends with Sam for a long time. I go there often, and have been going about once a week for two years. Maybe if you told them that Drew Patterson recommended you, they wouldnt care. But they dont have like a bouncer or anything crazy like that. Just walk in there and watch sports. They dontcare, they just say that stuff so they wont get in trouble with the authorities. vengeance. I would be happy to join you there, but my Cousin is having a party and I need to go. Maybe during the football season we could have get togethers at Sansone's......
Dress codes?! HA! On Sundays during Football season , I like wakeup and go with boxers and a shirt on. Lying on the couch at Sansones watching the Cowboys.... ahhh , bliss!
